With Daniel getting a fright when Jodie rocked up unannounced at his flat, the pair soon started to connect over the miserable goings on in both of their lives. Despite both of them making it clear that there was nothing romantic behind Jodie staying the night, could there soon be? Jodie made herself at home (Credit: ITV) Jodie stayed the night at Daniel’s in Coronation Street After believing that Daniel had gone to the Lakes, Jodie snuck his stolen spare key into her pocket and let herself into his flat. She intended to stay there until she sorted something out. However, she got a surprise – and so did Daniel – when he emerged from the bathroom and revealed that he’d been hiding out in his flat all alone. She promised she didn’t want to try it on with him but just needed a place to rest her head. Daniel agreed that he wasn’t interested in anything romantic, but he could do with the company. The pair were soon planning a spag bol night together and discussing Daniel’s terrible situation with Megan. And, Jodie then told him that her past history was complicated too.
