If a journal discovery wasn’t enough to put Summer in the frame, a photo from Lisa and Carla’s wedding solidified Summer as a new suspect. Now, it’s only a matter of time before Lisa and Kit bring Summer in for questioning. George found Summer’s journal (Credit: ITV) George discovers Summer’s journal entry in Coronation Street Today on the cobbles, Christina was busy doing some tapestry work but George wasn’t ready to find a new hobby just yet. Instead, he took up to tidying and found Summer’s things on the floor. Her journal dropped open to a page that George happened to glance at – and it was very telling. Summer wrote about wanting to pull a gun to Theo’s head and make him pay. Confiding in Todd, Summer then rushed to burn her journal in a fire so that anything that looked like evidence would be destroyed. Summer was horrified that they’d accuse her of wanting to flee to America because she might’ve killed Theo. She couldn’t believe that her friends would accuse her of murder. At the station, Lisa printed off some wedding photos and wanted to show them to Kit. Kit reluctantly looked through them before stopping on one specific photo. He then recognised the brooch that was found in Todd and Theo’s flat. Someone at the wedding was wearing it. Lisa then grabbed the photo and popped it on the evidence board. And, the person wearing it was Summer. But, does all this point to Summer being the one to kill Theo? Did she do it?
