Theo was murdered last month in Coronation Street, and it isn’t long before his murderer is finally revealed.

Fresh Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed that the killer is finally unveiled this summer.

Yes, after a round of police interviews over the last month, fans will now get their answers rather soon.

Next week, Todd is really struggling to get through life in the wake of Theo’s death, shutting down anyone who tries to reach out to him, including George, Christina and even Mary, all of whom attempt to smooth things over in their own way.

Feeling overwhelmed, Todd decides he needs some breathing space and moves in with Sarah instead. But Sarah is far from settled herself, as she’s busy leaving Kit a desperate voicemail, begging him to return from Glasgow and sort things out at home.

Just when things feel like they can’t get any heavier, Todd is hit with more shocking news. And to pour petrol on the fire, Theo’s ex Danielle turns up causing chaos by paying for funeral flowers, instantly stirring up fresh gossip about Theo’s finances.

Before long, George can’t help but start wondering if there might actually be a darker motive behind Theo’s death.

The situation really boils over later in the week when Danielle publicly points the finger at Todd, accusing him of killing Theo over his life insurance. Mary, never one to stay quiet, leaps straight to Todd’s defence in spectacular style, even joking that if anyone did it, it might have been her.

But the real jaw-dropper comes when Ryan follows Danielle outside and suddenly recognises her from the night Theo died…

Ryan becomes increasingly convinced that Danielle is hiding something. He shares his suspicions with Lisa, who wastes no time in bringing Danielle in for questioning.

But is Danielle really responsible for Theo’s death?

Exact date Theo’s killer is revealed

The date of Theo’s killer reveal has finally be confirmed. It’s all about to be revealed this summer in June/July time.

During Friday’s episode next week (May 29) we get one step closer to finding everything out as the truth about Theo’s death begins to crack wide open when a key witness suddenly changes their story and lies to the police about where they were on the night in question.

From there, a string of flashbacks shows exactly what they really saw, and why they’ve been so desperate to keep it buried all this time.

Talking about the murderer reveal, Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks confirmed to the Mirror: “It’s later in the summer. We reveal to the audience who it is during late June, July. There’s lots of people you definitely think it could be. It’s a massive story, there’s so many different twists, and there’s so many different offshoots to the story as well. You think you’re watching one thing, and then it diverts into a completely new kind of story territory. It’ll definitely keep people guessing. “
