ITVX Coronation Street drop sees Carl Webster get crushed by car as enemy gets revenge
Karma came back to bite Carl
In today’s ITVX early release episode of Coronation Street (Tuesday, April 28), viewers were treated to Carl Webster’s flashback scenes.
Planning on leaving the cobbles for good, Carl wanted to get one last piece of revenge on his brother Kevin.
Tampering with his brakes though, Carl ended up getting crushed when someone caused the car to lower on him at the garage.

Carl Webster’s exit plan in Coronation Street
Carl Webster was preparing to leave Weatherfield today, but he made sure that everyone knew about it.
Meeting up with Abi, he somehow persuaded his ex-lover to have a farewell drink with him at the pub. Abi then listened to Carl tell her all about how he truly loved her, but Abi said ‘good riddance’ to him.
Doing more acts of damage, Carl continued his feud with Theo out on the Street. Their physical fight could’ve ended in the bad way if Kevin hadn’t broken the two men up.
Later on, some time after Carl clashed with Fiz in the Rovers over Tyrone’s hit and run, Kevin and Carl shook hands to send Carl on his way.
But, peace was not restored between the brothers because Carl had other plans for him.
Meanwhile, at the hotel, Debbie suffered from memory loss and forgot Ronnie’s name. The moment must’ve given Ronnie some food for thought because he was soon after Carl…

Carl Webster crushed by vehicle as Ronnie closes in
At the garage, Carl thought that he’d carry out one last dodgy plot for his family to remember him by. He then slid under Kevin’s car and tampered with the brakes.
However, a shadow of one of Carl’s enemies then appeared and, before Carl knew it, the car had been lowered onto him and was crushing him.
The next scene involving Carl saw him slumped in the back of a car slurring out the words ‘I need a hospital.’
Ronnie Bailey was then revealed to be the driver of the car, telling Carl that people are lucky to be given second chances. And, that he wasn’t the type to give them out.
So, did Ronnie lower the car onto Carl in the garage? Or, did he save him instead? And, just where is Ronnie taking Carl if it’s not to the hospital…
We have a feeling that this won’t end well for Mr Webster.
