Despite the wedding being called off due to a flood at the Chariot Square hotel, Lisa managed to surprise Carla with plan B instead. With the couple then getting wed and celebrating their marriage, someone’s life was coming to a grisly end across the Street. They finally tied the knot (Credit: ITV) Carla and Lisa get wed in Coronation Street Carla was ready for a day of slumping it around the house today. She was upset that she’d had to cancel her wedding due to the hotel flood. Lisa then got to work on her secret plan and told Carla that Debbie was offering them a day of free champers as an apology. Getting dolled up, Carla entered the hotel to find it all kitted out ready for her and Lisa’s wedding. In another surprise for Carla, Lisa and Sally managed to summon her back to the factory to ‘sort out the Underworld alarm.’ Once Carla was inside, the couple’s friends and family all leaped out to surprise them with a wedding reception. After a touching speech from Roy, and some questionable dance moves, the couple then took a trip to the balcony to watch a firework display (thanks David). Of course, viewers will know that Betsy found a dead body on the Street at that moment. But, Carla assumed the sound was made by ‘foxes.’ There are five possible murder victims at risk – Carl, Maggie, Theo, Megan, and Jodie. With Todd plotting an escape to Thailand, he could be seen with a suitcase tonight. But, Theo waited for him outside his bedroom window. Elsewhere, Jodie was left fearing that Olivia’s dad was out to get her. Also, Carl was paid to leave Weatherfield by mum Debbie. And, in the background, Maggie and the Driscolls were working hard to bring down groomer Megan Walsh. But, which villain ends up being murdered? It’s finally revealed next week!
