After weeks of receiving nasty messages on social media, the culprit was finally caught by Tyrone. However, he’s agreed to keep it a secret from Fiz and Hope as long as the messages stop. Hope received another message (Credit: ITV) Hope received another message in Coronation Street For weeks now, Hope has been having a difficult time of things after being targeted by an unknown troll online. The nasty messages about Hope’s appearance prompted her to steal some ‘miracle pills’ from a client at the salon before being caught. She admitted that she didn’t feel as pretty as the other girls in her class, with Bethany Platt reminding Hope that she was ‘glowing’ inside and out. This was because she’d publicly accused Jake Windass of being the person behind them. After she spotted Jake chuckling to himself in the salon, Hope put two and two together and made five. It turned out that Jake just had a bit of a crush on Hope, with the true culprit still continuing to send messages. Today, Hope received another message – and it was very telling. Ruby is guilty (Credit: ITV) Ruby Dobbs exposed as Hope’s online troll in Coronation Street Today, in the ITVX early release episode, Ruby complained to Tyrone and Fiz that the kids at school were taking the mick out of her for having a ‘cringey and clapped’ phone. Tyrone explained that they couldn’t afford to buy her a new one. Later on, Hope received another nasty message on her phone and showed Tyrone. He was shocked when he read an insult directed towards Hope that used the phrase ‘cringey and clapped.’ Without making Hope aware that he’d worked out who her troll was, Tyrone spoke to Ruby and told her he knew everything. Ruby then admitted that she was jealous of Hope. She always got everything she wanted because she had a horrible dad. She blamed Tyrone going out to get Hope’s trainers for his accident. Tyrone then agreed to hide the truth from Hope and Fiz. This was as long as Ruby promised to stop sending the messages. But, how long will this stay a secret for?
