Maggie Driscoll might have an actual skeleton in her closet as it turns out she’s got a pretty big murder secret in Coronation Street.

Only rocking up on the cobbles a few weeks ago, Maggie’s already made quite the mark on Weatherfield.

She’s already given Eva a run for her money in the pub, supported Asha, and helped Will get let off the hook for drinking and skipping school. But, what else is in store for her?

Maggie has made her mark

Maggie Driscoll made quite the entrance onto Coronation Street when she turned up during Eva’s party at the Rovers and announced that Ben had actually bought the pub with her money, making her landlady.

Of course, Eva was livid after having only just been surprised by Ben. She’d been told that he’d bought the pub for her.

After some dispute, Maggie agreed that Eva could act as landlady. She could have her name above the door. But, she’d been a silent partner who was the ‘real’ boss.

While Maggie hasn’t always agreed with Eva on ideas for the pub, she has got a heart and puts her family first.

Her softer side was also shown when she helped a struggling Asha Alahan get some support. Maggie encouraged her to open up to her about how she was feeling, before calling for an ambulance.

With the Driscolls arriving with ‘a suitcase full of secrets’ though, it appears that Maggie has quite the dark side.

Maggie Driscoll’s murder secret in Coronation Street

The Sun has reported that a special flashback episode is in store for Maggie. It will reveal that she’s hiding a huge secret. She’s killed someone. And, someone viewers know well.

The murder would’ve took place before Maggie came to the cobbles, with a source telling the publication: “When viewers see whose death Maggie was behind it will really send shockwaves through Weatherfield and life will never quite be the same again for her.

“The killing happened prior to her moving into the Rovers Return with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, and none of them will be aware of it.

“But it will all come out in a bombshell storyline leading up to the festive season.”

But, who could Maggie have killed? We won’t have long to wait until we find out!
