Kit originally planned for dinner to be a romantic meal for two, but Sarah then started invited guests which led him to then do the same. But, with Maria accusing Gary and Sarah of an affair, a flashback revealed what the pair were really hiding. The dinner party turned into a disaster (Credit: ITV) Kit’s dinner party in Coronation Street Kit Green was excitedly planning a dinner for him and Sarah, believing it to be a romantic time to pop the question. But, Sarah cancelled their lunch plans beforehand to visit Gary at the yard. Kit witnessed the tense exchange and started to believe that something was going on between them. With places at the table laid, Maria decided to do a toast. She then suggested that Gary and Sarah had been having an affair for weeks. Cutting her hand on some broken glass, Sarah then got flashbacks to the night of April 23rd as her and Gary’s secret was revealed to viewers.Don't miss a single story! Sarah killed Theo (Credit: ITV) Sarah Platt revealed as Theo Silverton’s killer On the night of Carla and Lisa’s wedding day, Sarah entered Todd and Theo’s flat looking for Todd. She then climbed the scaffolding and found Theo there. The pair then exchanged words, with Sarah not appreciating the way the abuser was talking about her friend. She then grabbed a pole and whacked Theo over the head, leading him to fall and tumble off the scaffolding onto the floor below. Sarah then rushed down to check on Theo, horrified when he started to bleed out and was clearly dead. Panicking, she then phoned the only person she knew that could truly help her. No, not her detective boyfriend. Her killer ex, Gary Windass. Gary and Sarah’s sinister secret Gary was furious when Sarah asked him to help her deal with Theo’s dead body, kicking himself that he’d do anything for Sarah. He told Sarah to clean herself up and make sure that she was seen somewhere else so that she’d have an alibi. Fortunately for her, she didn’t really have to do much planning on that front as Jodie soon knocked her out. Meanwhile, Gary tried to hide the evidence and make sure that nothing could be traced back to Sarah. Back in the present day, Gary stormed out of the dinner party with Sarah following him. He then said that he could no longer hide the truth from Maria and was going to tell her what they were really hiding, even if that meant Sarah going to prison. He’d already ruined his relationship because of Sarah, while she was able to go back to her life with Kit. With this, Gary prepared to tell Maria everything while Sarah sweated facing the music. The fallout is set to be huge, that’s for sure!
