Will arrived with a HUGE secret, Becky played dirty, and Carl's just awful, there's a lot of bad behaviour in this week's Coronation Street review

We're not angry, we're just disappointed

Our Coronation Street review this week is accompanied by some stern looks and a bit of finger wagging, because everyone’s been behaving really badly, haven’t they?

From Hope’s tormentor being revealed as her sister Ruby, to Tracy messing with Cassie, and Abi’s general lack of concern for anyone except herself, no one’s been doing the right thing.

And that’s before you get to the horrors of Carl manipulating Debbie, Becky threatening Costello’s family, and teen newcomer Will being groomed by his athletics coach.

What a lot of bad behaviour!

Here’s what we thought of everything that’s gone on this week in our Coronation Street review.

Will is keeping secrets in our Coronation Street review

The Driscolls have only been in Corrie for a week but already we’re invested in the whole family. This week we met son Will, who had been away with his athletics club and then didn’t return when he was supposed to.

And when he did arrive, there was a real shock in store.

Because it turns out 15-year-old Will is being groomed by his coach, Megan. The Driscolls all seem to think she’s great. But little do they know that she’s convinced Will they’re in love. Were they planning to run away together? It definitely appeared that way from Will trying to find his passport.

Step-mum Eva is thrilled to have him home, but Will’s dad, Ben, is already wondering what his son was up to.

It’s all pretty shocking, and we’re wondering if Tim will end up being involved. His storyline about his strange relationship with an older woman when he was a teen echoes Will’s experience.

Coronation Street review sees Becky play dirty

Carla and Lisa got some bad news this week when it turned out Becky being alive puts a big old dampener on their wedding plans. Lisa can’t marry Carla knowing Becky’s alive, but she also can’t divorce Becky without revealing she’s not dead and risking her life.

Hmm. What to do?

Carla gave Lisa an ultimatum. And we’re really hoping she makes the right choice (CARLA, Lisa! Pick Carla!). Meanwhile Becky has wormed her way into their home again, she’s threatened horrible Costello and his daughter, and it’s all got really nasty.

Carla’s husbands

Becky threw an insult at Carla about how many of her husbands were dead, which made us wonder about that very thing. So we thought we’d do a little recap.

Carla’s first husband  was Paul Connor. He died. She married killer Tony Gordon, who also died. She married Peter Barlow twice and thankfully he’s still alive. And she even married Nick Tilsley who is also still alive, skidding around in his slippy shoes. So the odds are in Lisa’s favour. Statistically speaking.

Coronation Street review: Carl should be in jail!

Carl and Abi have been so completely awful throughout their affair that it’s hard to see how either of them can come back from this. Which is a shame for Abi, who was a great character once upon a time. This week she showed her bare fingers to Roy, telling him she’d sold her rings to pay the deposit on a flat. But Kevin was right there the whole time – how thoughtless can she be?

However Abi’s thoughtlessness pales beside Carl’s awful, manipulation of his sister Debbie. Carl’s determined to get his mitts on Debbie’s money and he’s stopping at nothing to do it. He even booked a holiday for her and convinced her she’d done it herself. In fact, his meddling with her business left poor Debbie worried her symptoms were getting worse.

We firmly believe Carl should be punished for his crimes and we really hope it’s sooner rather than later.

Tracy v Cassie

Tracy Barlow is an excellent character. She’s part of Corrie history and we love her. But…

She doesn’t really have anything to do, does she? She was better when she was together with Steve. Now she’s rattling around, pursuing a childish vendetta against Cassie. Tracy deserves so much more!

Hope v Ruby

Who knew that Ruby would turn out to be the evil sister? Everyone’s money would have been on Hope turning out to be the bad one, right? But no! It’s Ruby who’s been sending the nasty messages after all.

The Corrie viewers called it, though. Not much gets past them!
