1. Theo’s murder probe takes shocking twist as Kit’s suspicions grow

The investigation into Theo’s murder takes a dramatic and unsettling turn as fresh doubts begin to surface in Weatherfield. Kit finds himself increasingly unsettled as he observes a series of hushed conversations and suspicious behaviour unfolding around him. With tension quietly building, he then begins to question whether justice has truly been served in Summer’s case. Or, if the wrong person may already be facing the consequences.

Maria, meanwhile, is doing her best to keep her emotions under control. But, it is becoming harder to hide her growing unease. Gary’s recent behaviour is clearly weighing on her mind, leaving her torn as she tries to hold things together while uncertainty creeps in. As Kit continues to focus his attention on Gary, Maria is left increasingly on edge about what it could all mean for her relationship and future stability.

Kit makes it clear he is not backing down, deliberately marking Gary’s card and sending a very clear message that he is being watched closely. With Kit keeping a close eye on his every move, the pressure begins to mount. And, the atmosphere turns increasingly tense. Maria is then left wondering whether there is even more to worry about than she initially realised, especially as Kit’s determination shows no sign of easing.

2. Will is drawn back into Megan’s dangerous game

Elsewhere, Will finds himself pulled back into Megan’s orbit in a twist-filled storyline. When Sam casually refers to the incident involving Will the previous day, Roy is left confused by the conversation, although Sam remains unaware of the significance of his reaction.

Will then tells Hope he has received a message from an old running friend in Hull. He’s keen to meet up. It offers him a brief sense of normality, giving him hope for a straightforward catch-up away from recent drama.

However, that hope is quickly shattered. When Will arrives to meet Lee, expecting a friendly reunion, he is instead then confronted by Megan. It quickly becomes clear he has been deliberately misled, leaving him shocked and also confused. As reality sinks in, Will is forced to question Megan’s true motives and what she is really hoping to achieve by pulling him back into her world.

3. Platts come together for rare moment of celebration

In lighter scenes, Shona takes steps to reunite the Platt family for a special occasion. Jodie joins the family as they gather for a celebratory tea at the Platts’ home. They mark Lily’s achievement after she wins the ‘Player of the Year’ trophy.

The celebration offers a welcome moment of warmth and unity, with the family putting aside recent tensions to focus on Lily’s success. For once, the Platts are able to come together in a shared moment of pride, enjoying a brief respite from the drama unfolding elsewhere on the Street.
