Elsewhere, Sam continues to receives insults from Will. Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Thu, Apr 9. Carl wants more cash (Credit: ITV) 1. Ronnie forced to play nice with Carl Debbie receives the results of her latest scan and, sadly, it’s exactly what she feared – things have taken a turn for the worse. But there’s little time to process it as drama quickly unfolds elsewhere. Over in the café, Ronnie is far from impressed when he catches Carl flirting with Jodie. Already on edge, Ronnie confronts him, furious at what he sees as Carl’s total lack of sensitivity given everything Debbie is dealing with. Carl wastes no time filling Debbie in on their heated run-in, which only adds to the tension. Later, Ronnie heads to the hotel and does something no one quite expects – he apologises to Carl, suggesting they wipe the slate clean and start over. But with emotions running high, you have to wonder… is Ronnie genuinely extending an olive branch, or is there more to this sudden change of heart? Making sure Theo has definitely left, Sarah pleads to be let inside. Todd hesitates, clearly nervous, but eventually gives in – carefully covering the doorbell camera before ushering her through the door. Once inside, Sarah wastes no time pressing him for answers, especially about why he’s been ignoring George’s messages. Todd is on edge, and it’s not long before their worst fear comes true – they hear Theo returning. Panic sets in instantly. With nowhere to hide and everything at risk, the pair are left scrambling. Will they think fast enough to avoid being caught? 3. Sam’s fears take a troubling turn Over at the precinct, Nick suggests a peace-making plan, encouraging Ben to invite Will to join Sam for a pizza. It sounds simple enough.
