Carl riles up his enemies with car brake sabotage plot
Murder week continues
In Coronation Street spoilers for Tue, Apr 28, Carl Webster’s ‘murder week’ episode arrives as he angers his enemies even more.
But, with Carl being one of five potential murder victims, does he do enough to provoke his own death?
Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Tue, Apr 28.

1. Wedding bells… and warning signs
It’s meant to be the happiest day for Carla and Lisa as they tie the knot, but Corrie has other ideas. The week kicks off by rewinding to their big day, with the first four episodes each retelling the same wedding from different angles – and putting a different potential victim in the spotlight every time.
As the brides arrive at Underworld for the reception, everything looks flawless – bubbly flowing, smiles all round and love in the air. But it doesn’t take long for things to turn sour elsewhere on the Street.
2. One day, a whole lot of drama
With each episode, more of the truth spills out as hidden feuds, simmering grudges and jaw-dropping secrets come to light.
Suddenly, every glance feels suspicious and every chat carries an edge. The closer we get to the truth, the more tense things become, with even the smallest moments starting to look like vital clues.
It’s a clever way of telling the story – and it keeps everyone guessing who’s in danger.

3. A shocking end to the celebrations
By the end of the week, everything collides in true Corrie style. As fireworks light up the sky in honour of the wedding, things on the ground take a seriously dark turn.
In a spine-chilling twist, Betsy stumbles across a body – and just like that, the celebrations are over.
Shockwaves ripple through the Street. Who’s died… and who’s to blame? With so many suspects in the frame, no one is in the clear.
4. Carl pushes his luck again
On Tue, Apr 28, Debbie drops a bombshell on Ronnie and Kevin, revealing she’s paid Carl to clear off for good. But before he makes his exit, Carl can’t resist stirring the pot one last time – managing to annoy Abi, Tyrone, Theo and Kevin in the process.
Things take a darker turn when a message from Kevin leaves Carl fuming. In a shocking move, he secretly sabotages the brakes on Kevin’s car at the garage.
It’s a dangerous game – but will Carl get away with it, or is this the moment it all catches up with him?
