Bernie faces a stomach-churning dilemma Things take a seriously uncomfortable turn at the Chariot Square as Bernie finds herself in a situation she’d rather avoid at all costs. Ryan clocks her looking uneasy as she slips down the corridor and knocks on a bedroom door before heading inside. Once alone, Mal wastes no time making his feelings clear, insisting that simply being close to Bernie means everything to him. He gestures for her to sit beside him, but she’s far from keen. Trying her best to mask her disgust, Bernie is left weighing up an impossible choice. Will she really go along with Mal’s shocking suggestion, or is this one step too far even for her? George steps in as Theo’s mask begins to slip After the chaos of the previous day, Todd wakes up worse for wear with a pounding headache. Theo, clearly lacking sympathy, heads out for a run, leaving Todd to recover in peace. But things soon take a turn when George pops round, hoping to lend a bit of support – and perhaps a cuppa too. What follows is a moment that could change everything. Returning home, Theo assumes Todd is locked away in the bathroom and lets his guard down, shouting a string of nasty remarks through the door. Unfortunately for him, Todd isn’t where he thinks he is. Instead, Todd reappears with teabags in hand just as George steps out of the bathroom – meaning every word has been overheard.
