1. Police attempt to recover deleted evidence

Things are getting seriously tense on the Street as the investigation ramps up, and one couple suddenly finds themselves under intense scrutiny. A suspicious partner starts asking some very direct questions after noticing a clear shift in behaviour – and they’re not letting it slide. Just as things begin to unravel, Kit and Lisa step in, ready to put the pressure on with a full interrogation.

In the middle of it all, a desperate lie is thrown into the mix, buying a little breathing space – but not for long. Behind the scenes, police tech experts are hard at work trying to recover deleted evidence, and if they succeed, it could change everything.

But the biggest twist? It comes in the form of a photograph. What seems like an innocent snap at first glance could actually reveal a hidden figure at the scene of the crime. If that’s the case, someone’s secret could be about to come out in the most unexpected way. Will an alibi stand up to scrutiny, or has the truth already been captured without anyone realising?

2. Classroom chaos for Hope and Daniel

Over at school, things take a dramatic turn when Daniel grows suspicious of Hope’s work. Convinced she’s cheated by using AI to write her poem, he calls her out – but Hope isn’t one to back down quietly. Instead, she hits straight back with a pointed comment about Megan, instantly raising the stakes.

Determined to prove his point, Daniel orders Hope to write another poem on the spot. But rather than playing along, Hope uses the opportunity to stir up even more trouble, coming up with a poem that takes a swipe at Daniel’s personal life. As he tries to grab the paper from her, the situation spirals fast, with Hope accusing him of assault in front of Mrs Crawshaw.

With tensions running high and accusations flying, Daniel could be facing serious consequences. Has he just put his career on the line?

3. Melanie turns up the pressure

Melanie is making it clear she’s not giving up on her plan, especially when it comes to Will’s future. Turning up at the Rovers, she wastes no time in pushing her agenda, determined to convince him that moving to Scotland is the right move.

But with emotions already running high, her persistence could end up doing more harm than good. Will he give in to the pressure, or is this set to drive an even bigger wedge between them?

4. David’s ready to fess up

Away from the chaos, David starts to question whether it’s time to come clean. He suggests to Shona that they tell the police everything they know about Jodie, knowing it could have serious consequences.

5. Todd struggles

Meanwhile, Todd opens up to George, admitting he’s still struggling with his anger over Theo. For Todd, it’s not just about what happened – it’s the fact that Theo hasn’t been made to answer for his actions. And that frustration could end up bubbling over in ways no one expects.
