Elsewhere, Megan tries to communicate with Will. Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on tonight. Leanne’s smitten (Credit: ITV) 1. Newcomer Idris makes his mark Things are already getting lively as Brody heads off for an early morning run, only for chaos to start brewing elsewhere. A young lad, Damo, is seen scrambling out of a car in a hurry, clearly trying not to be noticed. Meanwhile, Brody’s day takes a turn when he’s doing a temp shift at Speed Daal. A rowdy group of businessmen roll in and instantly cause trouble, knocking a plate of curry straight over Brody’s trainers. Not exactly the start to a peaceful shift. Taking charge without missing a beat, he demands cash for the ruined trainers and quite literally boots the troublemakers out of the restaurant. No messing about. Alya is so impressed she pulls Idris in for a hug, while Leanne quickly recognises him as Kal’s cousin. But not everyone is won over just yet, as Adam immediately takes a dislike to Idris. Things get even more interesting when Idris reveals he’s bought a property agency in Manchester. Brody, never one to miss an opportunity, quickly asks him for a job. But there’s a more mysterious side to Idris too. When no one’s watching, he grabs Damo and steers him down the ginnel. It’s a sudden shift in tone that raises plenty of questions. She calls him up in Glasgow and leaves a message, letting him know Todd is staying for a few days and gently pleading for him to hurry home because she misses him. Danielle prepares for Theo’s funeral (Credit: ITV) 4. Danielle prepares for the funeral Danielle pays for Theo’s funeral flowers, but eyebrows are raised elsewhere. Tracy can’t help but speculate that Danielle must be due a decent inheritance, while George goes a step further, suggesting there could even be a murder motive at play. Could he actually be onto something? 5. Daniel opens up an official investigation Meanwhile, Daniel tells Jodie he has reported the trolling to the police, and an investigation is now underway.
