Elsewhere, Newcomer Idris makes moves in Weatherfield. Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on tonight. Daniel’s ambushed (Credit: ITV) 1. Daniel snaps as trolling turns real Daniel’s nightmare escalates in brutal fashion as the online abuse he’s been drowning in finally spills onto the Street. Unable to sleep, he scrolls through yet more vile posts, while Jodie also notes that the main account behind it all – Truthteller – has suddenly gone quiet, with other trolls quickly jumping in to fill the gap. Things take a sinister turn when Daniel walks towards No.1 and is ambushed by two lads who douse him in paint, hurl insults and film the whole thing for their own twisted entertainment. Later at Speed Daal, Daniel is left fuming when he spots Idris laughing while watching the footage. This sends his temper soaring once again. Idris turns heads (Credit: ITV) 2. Idris settles in, and wastes no time making moves Idris continues to shake things up on the Street, offering Brody his very first job and casually revealing he’s rented a flat in the precinct. He explains the previous tenant did a runner, leaving the place in a right state and in need of a serious clear-out. As Eid celebrations bring Alya, Adam and Idris together, Alya shows unexpected warmth and suggests Idris could stay with her family for a while. With Idris already making himself at home in Weatherfield life, the question is whether he’ll accept – or whether his sudden rise on the Street is all a bit too convenient.Don't miss a single story!
