In recent months, he’s faced cancer, news of his sister Debbie’s own illness, and the breakdown of his marriage after brother Carl seduced Abi. And now Kevin’s simply had enough… Kevin has been spiralling for weeks in Coronation Street (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Jack chooses Abi over Kevin As Kevin wallows in self pity and steams around the Street in anger, there’s someone else suffering – Jack. The teen has seen his own life fall apart, with Abi and Archie – his family – moving out, and his dad slowly losing the plot. Later, he comes home with Abi in tow with news. He’s going to move in with her for a few days. He tells Kevin he can see that he is struggling and needs some space to try and sort himself out. Kevin is left heartbroken as Jack leaves with his packed bag. Bad dad vibes Later in the week, when Kevin pulls a dirty mug out of the sink with World’s Best Dad on it, overwhelming guilt washes over him. He goes into work with his mind swirling. At the garage later, Bryan calls in asking Kevin to look at his clutch but Kevin isn’t paying any attention. When Bryan then points out that the roof is leaking, Kevin snaps. He lobs an empty bottle of vodka, narrowly missing Bryan, who rushes to the factory to get help. Can Abi convince Kevin there is still a life worth living for him? Desperate times call for… Abi. She climbs up and joins Kevin on the roof; at first he is hostile, but will she be able to get through to him and help?
