1. Daniel wakes up to every parent’s worst nightmare

Daniel’s day gets off to a disastrous start when a call from Bertie’s school leaves him cold. His son hasn’t turned up.

As the fog clears, Daniel takes a look around and makes a terrifying discovery – Bertie is nowhere to be found. Panic quickly kicks in as he realises he has no idea where his son is or how long he’s been gone.

With alarm bells ringing, Daniel is left desperately trying to work out what happened and, more importantly, whether Bertie is safe.

2. Adam pushes Daniel too far

As concern for Bertie grows, Daniel finds himself facing some tough questions about his parenting.

Adam certainly doesn’t hold back, tearing into Daniel over his behaviour and sparking a blazing row between the pair. The argument soon turns personal, however, when Adam mentions Sinead.

3. David squirms as Jodie drops another hint

Over at No.8, David would quite happily like the ground to swallow him whole.

Jodie makes yet another pointed remark about the time she claims he said her name, leaving David visibly uncomfortable. Keen to get the whole thing off his chest, he turns to Maria for advice.

Maria doesn’t soften her words and tells him the best thing he can do is come clean to Shona.

4. Leanne starts asking awkward questions

Things seem to be going well for Brody as he settles into working for Idris, but not everyone is convinced it’s all above board.

When Dylan casually mentions Brody’s car-stealing past, Leanne overhears and immediately becomes suspicious. Before long, she’s grilling Idris about exactly what kind of work he’s got Brody doing.

Will Idris be able to put her mind at rest, or has Leanne sniffed out trouble?

5. A phone could hold the answers

Lisa is intrigued when Todd’s missing phone turns up in a pawn shop and wastes no time sending it off for forensic testing.

6. Glenda’s delighted

Meanwhile, there’s a touching moment for Debbie and Glenda. Acknowledging that running the dementia choir may eventually become too much, Debbie asks Glenda if she’d be willing to take over. Delighted by the request, Glenda assures her it would be an absolute honour.
