As Jasmine found herself backed into a corner by the Beales, Ross continued to try and make things right with Vicki. Meanwhile, as Jean continued to simmer over Kat’s accusations, Zoe learned the truth about the earring.

But was Jean really responsible?

Meanwhile, Nigel and Kojo joined forces, and Freddie and Anna made a huge decision about their future.

Ross and Vicki shared a moment

At Harry’s Barn, Ross continued in his attempt to get through to Vicki. As they took a seat together, Ross re-iterated how awful he felt about the whole Joel situation; blaming himself and his poor parenting for everything that had happened.

“You should have dealt with Joel the minute you knew,” Vicki said. “Instead of paying that girl’s parents off.”

With Ross graciously not reminding her of that time she paid Joel’s tube assault victim off, Vicki began to warm to his sense of penitence.

Back home, Vicki received a visit from Chelsea, who wanted to check up on her new bestie. As they shared a glass of wine, Chelsea tried to reassure her that not all men are like Joel, or even her dad, Dirty Den.

Arriving at the house with a four pack for Vicki, Ross bumped into Chelsea on her way out. She told him that it was too soon to think about reconciling, and that Vicki needed her space.

Given his marching orders, Ross slunk off, back into the night, from whence he’d came.

Zoe learned the truth about the earring

In the wake of Kat’s conversation with Jean, she and Alfie tried to figure out how they’d break the news about the earring to Zoe.

Across the street, a self-pitying Jean continued to rant and rave about Zoe. At The Vic, Zoe shared a drink with Anthony, who suggested – in his medical opinion – that she’d developed a co-dependency on Kat and the rest of her family.

It all kicked off when Jean arrived, hoping to clear her name. Wading in, she accused Zoe of accusing her of the attack, leaving Zoe baffled. Upstairs, she railed on Kat and Alfie for hiding the truth about the earring from her.

She was convinced that Jean is responsible for all her recent torment – although Kat and Alfie weren’t so sure.

Nigel and Kojo joined forces

At Phil’s place, Nigel had enlisted Kojo’s help in making the film – as assistant director, no less.

Freddie and Anna planned for the future

Returning from the hospital, Anna bumped into Freddie. She revealed that she was planning on going travelling, far away from Walford.

Not wanting to lose her so soon after their reconciliation, he offered to go with her – an offer she gladly accepted. But how will their families take news of their plans?
