1. Penny gets the mother of all shocks at her baby scan
Penny and Vinny prepare for their first baby scan when a call from a potential business backer for Penny’s shop leaves Vinny unsettled. Determined to secure funding, he agrees to meet the mysterious investor, assuring Penny that he will join her at the scan later.
Penny begins the scan alone and learns the pregnancy is further along than expected. She is horrified and chooses to keep the news a secret from Vinny once he arrives.

2. Penny confides in Lauren and Oscar in EastEnders spoilers
Later, Vinny decides to seek funding for the shop through safer means, wanting to do things properly for his future family.
This dedication from Vinny leads an emotional Penny to confide in Lauren and Oscar that if the baby was conceived before New Year’s, then it cannot be Vinny’s and might be Harry’s.

3. Nicola worries when she hasn’t felt her baby move
As George prepares for the launch of his new restaurant, Knight Fusion, Harry notices Nicola seems distracted. She explains that she hasn’t felt the baby move, but doesn’t want to alarm George.
