With Billy taking part in another unlicensed match, both Mackenzie and John grow concerned for his well-being. This comes as desperate Billy attempts to provide for Dawn and the children by taking part in unlicensed, underground boxing matches. Things haven’t been easy for the pair since doctors diagnosed little Evan with leukemia earlier this year. The struggling dad has kept his violent second job a secret from Dawn – hiding both the fighting and subsequent injuries behind a series of (not all that convincing) lies and excuses. But with Billy still set on his highly dangerous course of action, Mackenzie is shocked and worried for his well-being. And, even as John attempts to assist with an impromptu coaching session, he and Aaron try to talk Billy out of fighting again. But, as their concern for Billy grows, John enlists Aaron’s help in an attempt to persuade Billy he’s in no shape to fight. Will it work?
