This week in Emmerdale – the biggest spoilers including Caleb’s fight for life as Joe strikes
Lives are on the line as Joe’s plot goes ahead
Emmerdale gears up for another big week of spoilers this coming week – and quite a crazy one by all accounts as we wait to see whether Caleb lives or dies following Joe’s plot to steal his kidney.
Elsewhere, Ella is going bonkers as she tries to prove her innocence. And when that doesn’t work, she turns on her friends.
There’s lots going on, so here’s our pick of the plots for the upcoming week in Emmerdale (March 24-28).
1. Joe’s plan put into action in Emmerdale spoilers
It’s full-steam ahead for Joe’s plan to steal Caleb’s kidney. He ends things with Dawn and she is stunned given the romantic plans she had for them both.
Joe then heads to the Woolpack and talks to Manpreet. Ross is watching and reports back to Kim, but Kim wants concrete proof of wrongdoing before she acts.
Joe and Crowley meet in a layby and go over the details for the next day. However Ross is following and knocks on the car window, spooking Crowley.
The dodgy doc insists they have to postpone unless Joe deals with Ross. Next thing we know, Ross gets a call to say brother Pete has been attacked and rushes over to see him in hospital. Guess Joe’s sorted it then!
2. Caleb stabbed and kidnapped
Ross is out of the way so the operation is firmly set. Joe gets an accomplice to drug Caleb, but it doesn’t work, so desperate Joe resorts to violence. He orders Shaun to stab Caleb and steal his car.
Joe then takes Caleb to a private clinic where Dr Crowley is waiting. But the stabbing is severe and Crowley is very unhappy – he doesn’t know if he can save Caleb and perform the transplant.
Meanwhile, Ross and Charity are hot on Joe’s heels, but will they track him?
On the operating table, things reach critical when Caleb flatlines. Can Crowley save him? And will Joe get his kidney and survive?
3. Ella won’t go in Emmerdale spoilers
Accused Ella is not giving up and leaving town that easily. She is hell bent on proving she is innocent and Chas is a painkiller addict. Determined to prove Chas framed her, Ella begs Liam to listen to her side of things.
It seems she does have Liam doubting his darling as he then goes and checks Chas’ cupboards. Chas isn’t impressed to find him rooting round, especially when he confesses what he’s doing.
Chas storms round to confront Ella, but Ella stands firm Chas is an addict. As Chas and Liam are unsure how to deal with the Ella situation, Ella is then upset when Manpreet asks her to move out.
In revenge Ella tells everyone about Manpreet’s dirty pictures secret and the blackmail. Has Ella burnt her last bridge?
4. Steph wants to take drastic action over Anthony
Understandably finding things hard still, what Steph doesn’t need is Jai sticking his beak in. He tries to get information out of her when he finds her upset and he also asks Laurel about Anthony’s disappearance.
As Caleb shoes Jai away again, Steph really isn’t coping. She finally tells her mum how she is feeling and Ruby hopes she’s helped her daughter.
But she has no idea Steph is researching plastic surgery to get rid of any trace of Anthony in her for good. Can Ruby and Caleb help their daughter cope?

April struggles as Marlon lies – again
Marlon hides a letter from Dylan in rehab despite Paddy urging him to be honest with April. As April struggles to reconnect with her old friends due to what she’s been through, Marlon and Rhona worry how to help her. But is lying the best choice, Marlon?
Nicola plots
Brenda seems unfazed when Nicola points out she’s won a magazine competition. Brenda says she’s turning down the prize leaving Nicola horrified – and starting to plot.
Sarah lies to Kammy
Things are blossoming between Sarah and Kammy and Cain’s even given him a trial at the garage. Despite Charity being firmly against it, Cain warms to the newcomer. But Sarah hasn’t told him the truth about her health condition – is this going to cause problems?
