As Pete’s attacked off-screen, is Anthony Quinlan returning? All we know
Will Pete reunite with his brother in the Dales?
Ross mentioned Pete being attacked tonight in Emmerdale (Tuesday, March 25), but will Anthony Quinlan return to the soap?
Pete left the soap in 2020 to go to live with Ross. But, now with Ross back in the Dales, could his brother follow him?
Here’s all we know about a potential on-screen Barton brother reunion.

Pete Barton attacked
Pete Barton was last seen on-screen in 2020, leaving the village to join brother Ross in Liverpool.
Recently in the Dales though, Ross Barton made a comeback to the soap and decided to settle back into the village life.
And, Ross’ charm has managed to work his way into a position in the Home Farm security department (the department consisting of him and him only.)
Ross has been employed by Kim to get the goss on what Joe’s hiding but Joe’s a clever guy. And, he won’t let Ross find out the info that easily.
Arranging for Ross to be out of the village in time for his donor plan to spring into action, Joe was smug as he readied himself for the day ahead.
Ross had received a phone call informing him that Pete had been attacked, prompting him to leave the village to see him…

Will Anthony Quinlan return to Emmerdale as Pete Barton?
Actor Anthony Quinlan has appeared in projects such as Asphyxiate and London Kills since leaving the ITV soap.
But, with Ross having returned to the village, it seems that Pete might be a tad lonely now. And, tonight’s mention means that the soap is determined not to make us forget about him.
But, could Anthony reprise the role of Pete? Well, actor Mike Parr would love to see it happen. He’s been calling for the return of his former co-star, still a great friend of his.
Speaking to Emmerdale Insider and other media last year, Mike spoke about wanting to Anthony back on the show as Pete.
He shared: “It’s different now because the Bartons are thin on the ground in terms on numbers.
“I’ve got no Quinny backing me up. He was my older brother, who’s just like my older brother in real life. We don’t see each other as much as we used to, but we’re still in touch.”
“I would love Quinny back. Because Quinny has done Hollyoaks and stuff before, he’s not much older than me but he felt older as soon as we got here, because he’d kind of walk the walk with the soap stuff and being on TV.
“He really showed Joe [Gill] and I the ropes. There were so many things we didn’t know what to do, we didn’t know how to handle. And, Quinny is a lovely, soft, fun person to be around. So, yeah, I would love it.”
But, it’s not yet been confirmed whether Pete Barton’s heading back to the Dales? So, we’ll have to wait and see!
