Perdy suffers a devastating accident in our Classic Emmerdale preview for episodes airing on ITV3 Monday June 23 – Friday June 27. But will Gray stand by her when he finds out what’s happened?

Elsewhere, Jimmy and Kelly get engaged, and Belle’s got some explaining to do!

Victoria’s playing detective in Classic Emmerdale preview

Victoria watches when Jasmine hands Jack a newspaper article about his trial for Sarah’s murder in the barn fire. Later, at the library archive, resourceful Vic tracks down the article and she’s shocked to find out the details of what happened.

As the Sugdens get ready to celebrate Victoria’s 13th birthday, she charges in and demands to know Jack’s side of the story. Jack explains that he was wrongly accused of killing Sarah.

Later, Jo quizzes Andy about Sarah’s death, making him regret telling her everything. Diane and Andy think Jack should explain everything to Victoria, but Jack’s worried about her reaction. Later, Diane tells Jo the secret could destroy the family if it gets out.

Marlon feels guilty in Classic Emmerdale preview

Jimmy mocks Donna for her incompetence in stopping the robbery, leaving Marlon feeling guilty. When Eli hands over his share of the profits from the crime, Marlon tells Donna he won a bet.

Classic Emmerdale: Bob and Viv argue

Bob and Viv get ready to hit the shops with Kelly stepping in to babysit. But Bob worries she’s not taking her duties seriously. Kelly ropes in Jimmy to help, but she’s left alone with the tots when he has to go to work. When Bob returns he reluctantly admits that Kelly’s done a good job.

Later, Viv and Bob argue about who should be the babies’ godparents. Bob heads off to ask Terry to be godfather, but he’s still unsure about their final choices.Viv tells Donna, Emily and Kelly they’re the godmothers, and asks Paddy and Marlon to be godfathers.

When Paddy tells Eddie, Bob realises he’s going to have to come clean. When he fesses up to Viv, she admits she’s asked Kelly.

Viv’s christening plans are out of control and she heads to the shops, leaving Bob to run both businesses on his own. When she comes back and shows off the fancy outfits she’s bought for the babies, Bob is appalled. He tells her to return them, leaving Viv embarrassed in front of the customers.

Jimmy gets romantic – with soggy consequences!

Elsewhere, Kelly moves in with Jimmy at Home Farm, despite some cutting remarks from Matthew. Jimmy assures her he’s serious about their relationship.

Later she overhears Matthew and Carl discussing Jimmy’s proposal to make Carrie a director in King & Sons, and wrongly assumes it means he’s going to ask her to marry him!

Dolled up, Kelly bursts into the board meeting, only to realise her mistake. Later, Kelly admits what she thought to Jimmy and she’s surprised and delighted when he produces an engagement ring, only to drop it in the river!

After a soggy search, the ring is found and Kelly accepts. The wedding is on!

Matthew’s not impressed by Kelly and Jimmy’s engagement, but Carl is supportive. Kelly’s family are equally unenthusiastic as Bob accuses her and Viv of forgetting about Dawn.

Kelly tells him she’ll marry Jimmy without his approval and Bob responds by telling Kelly she can’t be the twins’ godmother.

Back at Home Farm, Jimmy is pleased when Kelly tells him she’s going to ask Scarlett to be her bridesmaid.

Later, Kelly tells Donna she’s determined to marry Jimmy, no matter what and Donna congratulates her. The pair chat about the future with Kelly telling her sister she doesn’t want kids – but does Jimmy feel the same?

Hari makes a mistake in Classic Emmerdale

Perdy is horrified at Gray’s plan to buy a racehorse and insists he pulls out of the deal. Hari is desperate to make it work, though, so he decides to ‘borrow’ some money from the vet’s, despite the financial problems the business is having.

Gray’s interested to hear Hari’s going ahead with buying the horse, but Paddy’s suspicious. When Jo realises there is money missing, she starts to investigate only for Hari to sack her on the spot.

Hari admits to Gray that he’s borrowed the money from the business to buy the racehorse, and Gray agrees to act as his partner – but in an advisory role only.

When the horse – Boomer – runs well in training, Hari says he’s going to enter him in a race. Jonny warns he isn’t fully fit but Hari insists.

Jo knows too much

Jo’s annoyed to find Katie enjoying watching her struggle to look after Sarah. As the pair argue, Jo reveals she knows the truth about the fire. Katie’s not pleased to realise Jo knows but Victoria doesn’t. Later, Jo and Andy argue and Andy tells her not to let anyone know what she knows.

Perdy suffers a devastating accident

Happy but cautious, Perdy tells Katie that she’s pregnant, so Katie’s horrified when her friend falls from a horse and rushes her inside. When Katie tells Chas what’s happened, Paul overhears and dashes to be with Perdy. She’s worried she’s had another miscarriage. As her pain gets worse, Paul takes her to hospital and gets Jonny to contact Gray.

At the hospital, Gray’s shocked to hear Perdy had an ectopic pregnancy and in order to save her life they need to perform a hysterectomy.

When Perdy wakes up, Gray breaks the news. She’s devastated and worried about their marriage. She begs Gray not to tell Rosemary. Back at the cottage, Paul fills Jonny in on the sad news.

Gray and Paul are worried about Perdy when she seems calm. Paul urges Gray to reassure her that he’ll stay by her side, but Perdy is adamant the marriage won’t last.

Back home, Perdy and Gray are interrupted by Rosemary. She senses there’s more to Perdy’s hospital stay and pushes her to admit she’s had a hysterectomy. Rosemary’s upset that her dreams for grandchildren have fallen apart.

Gray’s pleased when his mum seems supportive, but soon she’s telling him he needs to leave Perdy. Gray tells her they’re sticking together.

But it seems Perdy isn’t coping so well when she throws pregnant Lauren out as she arrives to do some cleaning.

Debbie lashes out

Elsewhere, Debbie scolds Kelly about her engagement but wanting to get the upper hand, Kelly announces they’re having a party to celebrate – tonight!

Scott gets in touch with Debbie and asks her to buy a present for the happy couple, Debbie’s disgruntled but Eli thinks it’s an easy way to get an invitation. Later, Kelly’s disappointed by the turnout and fuming at the present – matching prisoner costumes for her and Jimmy!

Eli and Debbie celebrate and their good mood almost turns into something more until Debbie pulls away. Later, she dismisses his suggestion that they make peace with Kelly, while Kelly dismisses Eli’s apology.

Sadness for Betty in Classic Emmerdale preview

Betty is worried when her dog Charlie goes missing. Sam finds the pooch, who’s passed away in Seth’s hut, and tells Betty the news. She’s upset to lose her last link to Seth and says she wants to scatter Charlie’s ashes next to his former master.

It all kicks off at the pageant

Tempers fray over the pageant arrangements with Louise and Alan arguing. Jasmine watches on, ready to write a newspaper article about it all!

Alan and Louise bicker. Louise criticises the lack of celebs for the pageant and Alan takes a swipe at Louise’s ‘tacky’ ideas. But they’re soon left dealing with a much bigger problem!

When they wake up the next day, they find their floats have been destroyed by a herd of escaped cows. Alan’s pleased that the pageant needs to be cancelled, while Louise is quick to point the finger at him, claiming sabotage. Belle feels guilty as Alan is criticised by the villagers. She’s about to reveal all, when he announces he’s determined to find the culprit.

Later, Alan’s annoyed to see Jasmine’s written an article about the pageant disaster. Guilty Belle confesses her part in the whole thing to Rosemary, who tells her to confess to Alan. He’s furious. He exposes her as the culprit in front of all the Dingles. Lisa is upset that Belle confided in Rosemary, and Zak tells Belle she needs to come clean to the villagers.

Carl’s unsettled – but what’s he hiding?

Scarlett tries to persuade Carrie to move to the village. But she’s struggling with the increasing influence Jimmy has over her daughter. When Carrie spots a bullying text message on Scarlett’s phone she’s thoughtful, but she’s distracted when Jimmy turns up and they have a big row.

Later, Matthew calls a board meeting about his plans for Mill Brook Cottage, but he’s not aware that Jimmy’s planning or it to be a home for Carrie and Scarlett. When Matthew interrupts Jimmy showing them round, Carrie’s annoyed that she’s stuck in the middle of the Kings’ power struggles. Scarlett though loves the new house and asks her mum if they can stay at Home Farm while they wait for the building work to be done, but Carrie says no.

Chas is confused by Carl’s reaction to everything that’s gone on recently, and it gets worse when she offers to have Carrie and Scarlett stay at Dale View instead.

When Carl gives Carrie the guided tour, it is revealed they had a one-night stand, but Carl is hurt when Carrie trivialises it. When Chas comes home she finds the atmosphere between Carl and Carrie is tense, but Carl offers no explanation.

Len makes wedding plans in Classic Emmerdale preview

Pearl’s worried that Len’s not taking the wedding plans seriously so in an attempt to convince her he wants to marry her, Len suggests moving their big day from Christmas to May! Pearl happily agrees. Len tells her money is no object for their special day.

Meanwhile, Len’s struggling at the garage because Debbie’s preoccupied with the taxi firm. But when he tries to work on one of Eli’s dodgy cars, Debbie has to think fast and sends Len home.

David’s planning a trip

David announces to Del that they can move to South America once they’ve been successful with their scam. Del isn’t keen and points out it’s far away from their loved ones – but David says they’ll never be coming back anyway.
