These episodes first aired on December 15 and 17, 2006. Jamie’s furious as Jean makes a decision Jamie arrives at Home Farm ready to tell the Kings that the Hopes won’t be accepting the compensation money they’ve offered. He’s shocked when Tom reveals Jean has already taken the money – and that means there can be no civil action taken against the Kings for Dawn’s death. Furious, Jamie confronts his mum, who’s packing a suitcase. They argue and Jamie accuses Jean of taking the money without discussing it with Bob first. Jean tries to explain herself but Jamie’s not interested. He disowns his mum and walks out without a backwards glance. Terry tries to stop Jean leaving with TJ (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) A secret goodbye in Classic Emmerdale Jean goes to see Terry and asks him if she can take TJ to the park. Terry agrees and doesn’t twig anything’s up when Jean says a guarded goodbye. Then she and the little lad jump in a taxi and head for the airport! article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Meanwhile, Jamie finally realises why his mum was packing, and alerts Terry. They race off to the airport, desperate to stop Jean leaving with TJ. Will they make it on time? Classic Emmerdale: Chas feels guilty Elsewhere, Chas arrives at the pub in tears over the Kings’ behaviour. She tells Diane she feels guilty about their treatment of the Hopes, just because she’s associated with the family. In the meantime, Diane’s still acting strangely – much to Val’s disbelief. Diane starts making big plans for the Woolpack and decides to create a new cocktail. News spreads round the village that Jean’s taken TJ and gone (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Bob vows revenge in Classic Emmerdale As news spreads of Jean’s flit with TJ, the villagers are shocked. When Bob sees Tom in the village he confronts him furiously and tells him he’ll get revenge – any way he can! Jamie’s got a different approach though. He goes to see Chas and asks her if she’ll help him get some evidence against the Kings. Feeling horrible about it all, Chas agrees. She tells Jamie if he can speak to the foreman from the housing development, he’ll be able to help. She subtly probes Jimmy for information about where the foreman could be and discovers he’s in St Tropez. But Tom gets wind of Chas’s questions and he’s furious with Jimmy for giving her information – and he vows to deal with her later. Terry’s desperate Elsewhere, a desperate Terry books a flight to Morocco hoping to track down TJ. But when he talks to the police, they warn him it’s a waste of time trying to find his son. Jack’s annoyed with Diane – again Meanwhile, Jack finds Victoria in the pub flirting outrageously with a much older teen! He sends her home and tears a strip off Diane for letting her behave that way when Diane is supposed to be watching her. Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm.
