Cain has overreacted and thrown Ruby and Caleb out of his house, Bear is being charged with manslaughter and Dawn thinks she might be pregnant. There’s lots to unpick from Emmerdale tonight! Caleb and Ruby got it in both barrels from Cain (Credit: ITV) What happened in Emmerdale tonight Bear was struggling with being locked up. The noises were overwhelming him as the other prisoners shouted and banged in neighbouring cells. Paddy wasn’t allowed to be his appropriate adult any more as he was also under suspicion, and the lawyer finally called Walsh out for holding a vulnerable man without charge. But Walsh then delivered the news that the CPS were charging Bear with manslaughter. The solicitor said it was good as it meant they could plead self-defence, but what about Paddy and Dylan? They had both been brought in for questioning with Walsh determined to prove they were involved in Ray’s murder. But can she make a case? article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Elsewhere, Joe was playing stepdad extraordinaire to Lucas and Dawn was so impressed she told Joe she thinks she’s pregnant. Joe then confided his joy in Graham and Dawn was furious telling him she didn’t know if she wanted another baby. Talk about a change of tone! Also, Cain got mad and threw Ruby and Caleb out over the fact they called the police when they discovered the dead bodies. And, Gabby got involved with Laurel and Arthur as Arthur continued to behave like a brat. Emmerdale tonight was annoying! There might have been plenty of the usual drama, but honestly, we found more than one thing irritating and frustrating in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale… 1. How does DS Walsh still have a job? The police detective has made nothing but mistake after mistake after mistake in this case. She is the true epitomy of dreadful policing. She is determined to pin it on Moira Dingle, won’t believe Bear even though he’s confessed and her aggressive unsympathetic line of questioning makes her even more unlikeable. Sure, maybe she’s not there to be likeable she’s just there to do her job. But she’s not even doing that! She’s more interested in blaming vulnerable people for murdering scumbags than actually investigating all the crimes Ray and Celia committed. Cain was angry – again in Emmerdale tonight (Credit: ITV) 2. When will Cain be honest in Emmerdale? It’s an age-old storyline that really bothers us: secret cancer. Only Sarah and Liam know about Cain’s diagnosis and it’s clearly not doing him any good at all. He needs help and support and those around him to rally. He needs to tell everyone the truth instead of burying his head in the sand. It’s frustrating and annoying watching him lash out at everyone trying to help him. Cain has grown more than this, it’s time to be honest. Does Evan still live there? (Credit: ITV) 3. Where is Evan? Dawn is worried she might be pregnant. Joe is ecstatic, but Dawn isn’t sure she wants another baby. Quite honestly we don’t blame her given she seems to have forgotten her 18 month old child Evan. He hasn’t been seen in months. Months. Where is he? Has she remembered he even exists? He must have a touch of the Tracy Barlow’s – playing tapes in his room for the rest of his childhood. And if she has another baby, he’ll definitely be forgotten. Perhaps he’s with his also-forgotten dad, Billy? Arthur has gone off the rails (Credit: ITV) 4. When will someone give Arthur a slap after his behaviour in Emmerdale tonight? Let’s be honest, Arthur’s attitude sucks. He is behaving like a spoiled brat and yes, all teenagers act out and rebel, but this is going too far. Laurel clearly can’t cope with him and it’s exactly the right time to get Gabby involved. Despite often being one to need a kick herself, she can also dish it out to Arthur too. Although Laurel told her son she’d given the money back to the people it belongs to, frankly she should have let him go to Australia then we’d be rid of him. In fact, we’ll all chip in and even help him pack his bags! Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale?
