It’s just a shame Moira didn’t, even though she knew she couldn’t trust them. But it seems things are going to get worse before they get better for our Moira. That is if they get better at all. Those watching at home, though, have the perfect plan for Moira: she can ask for help elsewhere. But will she swallow her pride and do it? Joe played dirty to get Butler’s (Credit: ITV) What happened with Moira and Joe in Emmerdale tonight? Moira was torn over Kim and Joe’s offer. And she was right to be cautious because he was busy confessing to Dawn they intended to find a loophole to evict Moira at some later date. Dawn wasn’t impressed. She warned him about Cain, but Joe was not fussed, which seems strange given Cain has nearly killed him previously. Meanwhile, Cain promised to support Moira in whatever she wanted to do. We’re not crying, you’re crying! article continues below Read all the latest spoilers And back at Home Farm it was revealed that Joe had bribed the water board to up Moira’s fines and turn down her appeal. Unfortuantely for Joe, Moira was there at the time and heard everything. She later confronted him and he admitted what he had done. But confident Joe was adamant whether he’d done it or not, she still didn’t have any way out other than accepting Kim’s offer. Moira told him to do one. Furious Joe returned home and told Dawn Moira needed to learn he always gets what he wants “and I don’t give a damn who or what I have to destroy along the way”. Sigh. We might need some Dingles to do their thing (Credit: ITV) Who can help Moira now? Despite Joe’s determination, fans are desperate for Moira to not give up the farm. And they have come up with some different solutions to help her out. “Get everyone to chip in with their cash to help you Moira, don’t sell to Kim! It’s like her and Joe will take over everything and this wonderful soap will lose its farm,” said one on social media. Another suggested Caleb could step in with all his cash: “Hope Kim doesn’t get her hands on it, Caleb will hopefully help them out.” After all, Caleb does owe them after trying to put them out of business in his own revenge plot. Someone else suggested Celia could help out: “They’ll rent the field / fields to the other farmer (I forget her name, her dog attacked Paddy) as she stated it would help pay the fine!” There were others who thought the Dingles would know just what to do… “Come on Dingles do some dodgy deals and get Moira’s bill paid,” said one. “Moira needs to get Cain to start stealing some cars again,” added a second. Moira finds herself under arrest (Credit: ITV) What happens next? Things get worse for Moira next week when two masked intruders break into the barn. Kyle stabs one of them with a pitchfork and Moira scares them away with her shotgun. She then confronts Joe over the break-in and accidentally hits Lydia during the altercation. Next thing Moira knows she’s arrested and told her case is not looking good. Has Moira finally lost the fight? What else happened in Emmerdale tonight There was plenty more drama in Emmerdale tonight when Pollard found out about Jacob's proposal and Robert went to the police. Engagement news spread Sarah and Jacob decided to break the news to Pollard they were engaged. Kammy found out first and was thrilled for them! But of course Eric was not. Sarah argued her case, but Pollard was worried about her dying and didn't want Jacob to be heartbroken. Comparing their time together to Eric and Val's eight-year marriage, it got Pollard to thinking. Victoria then found out and was taken aback that her ex was engaged to her niece. She put on a brave face and offered to buy them a congratulatory drink. Eric later turned up and congratulated them at the pub. He apologised and wished them well. But does he really mean it? Robert was fobbed off in Emmerdale tonight Robert went to the police telling them all of his evidence proving Owen didn't kill Nate. He told them to talk to John Sugden. However the police - stupid as they are - weren't interested. They thought Robert was wasting their time and clearly didn't believe a word he was saying. Steve did not back up Robert's story and Liam Cavanagh told the police there was nothing out of order about John's behaviour. Robert was given an informal warning and sent away with his tail between his legs. Where's Detective Foy when you need him?! Robert was later intrigued upon learning Jacob had nearly died after a coffee swap with John, but with Steve threatening him violently to leave things alone, will Robert continue to dig? Also in Emmerdale tonight... April is loving working at Take A Vow, but Marlon's mention of school threw things slightly. April was honest and told him she was really enjoying working and has asked Belle to take her on as an apprentice. But Marlon was not happy about it at all. He wanted her to do it part-time while going back to school. But April wasn't interested and told him as much - she wasn't asking permission, she was telling him. Ooh, get her!
