Realising someone must have talked, Ray vows to discover which one of his employees is a traitor. But who is it? Bear could not save Anya (Credit: ITV) Anya died in Bear’s arms in Emmerdale tonight In Emmerdale tonight it was clear Anya was not getting any better. Bear was doing all he could to nurse her, but Ray had failed to bring the supplies needed to make her better. Ray and Celia were instead distracted by Kim doing an on-the-spot inspection of the property. While Ray dashed upstairs to keep their slaves quiet, Celia managed to get rid of Kim by lying her turkey feed was toxic to horses. Kim decided not to put her beloved pets at risk and left without inspecting the place. But the noise Ray and the others had been making upstairs roused Kim’s suspicions and Celia was fuming with her son. As she reprimanded Ray, he said he felt Anya did need some antibiotics, so Celia sent him off to get some. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers However by the time Ray returned, he was too late, Anya had tragically died. Bear was devastated, but things only get worse next week. The emotion gets to Bear (Credit: ITV) Bear forced to dig Anya’s grave Spoilers for next week tell us Bear is determined Anya will have a proper funeral. He finally snaps at Ray when he learns Anya’s body has just been dumped in the feed shed. Celia is forced to agree to a funeral and leads Ray and Bear to a field at Butler’s late at night. She tells Bear he must dig the grave. Emotional Bear gives a speech making Ray feel uncomfortable but cold Celia not even remotely fussed. Later, Mick and Simo tell Bear about their escape plan. They beg him to leave with them, insisting Ray has brainwashed him. As he looks at a photo of Anya’s daughter and thinks about Paddy, will Bear realise he’s being exploited and make his getaway? Jai gets a shock when the police turn up at the Depot (Credit: ITV) The police storm the Depot in Emmerdale spoilers The Bear and Anya situation isn’t the only problem facing Celia and Ray next week. Viewers will recall how Ray used Dylan’s job at the Depot as an opportunity to further his illegal dealings. Unbeknownst to Caleb and Jai, Ray has been using their company vehicles to shift drugs to various locations across the country. So far the operation has been kept hush-hush, but that might not be the case for much longer when the police receive a tip-off. Dylan and Billy are shocked when they see a police car pull up outside the Depot. Officers approach Jai and reveal they’ve come to investigate a report of drugs on the premises. Jai is totally flummoxed and unable to answer any of their questions. He suggests the cops speak to Caleb directly. Ray wants to know who talked to the police (Credit: ITV) When word reaches Ray of the police raid he’s understandably rattled. He instructs Dylan to put a pause on their operation until the heat dies down. This is a worrying development for Ray and Celia, who realise they have a rat amongst them. Ray approaches a nervous Dylan and April and warns of the consequences this person faces if they’re caught. Are either of the teens behind it? Celia tricks Moira into signing another dodgy contract (Credit: ITV) Celia manipulates Moira Over at Butler’s, Celia is disgruntled by Kim’s visit the day before. She moans to Moira about the Tate’s interference and produces a new contract. Unaware that she’s being reeled into another one of Celia’s schemes, Moira signs on the dotted line. Nicola and Laurel find no trace of Ray online (Credit: ITV) Laurel and Nicola investigate Ray in Emmerdale spoilers Another local totally oblivious to Ray’s true nature is his love interest, Laurel. She’s excited as she prepares for her date with him and is boosted by best mate Nicola’s encouragement. For a bit of fun, Nicola suggests they do a quick search online to see if Ray has any skeletons in his closet (if only they knew). But the pair’s cyber-sleuthing results in suspicion as neither Nicola or Laurel can find any trace of Ray on the internet. Will Laurel realise Ray isn’t the man he says he is?
