This week on-screen has been packed full of shocks Charity went missing and was counselled by a stranger – who turned out to be Serena Sugden. Charity then came home and revealed everything to Mack and he has vowed to stand by her as she fights for justice against Dr Todd. Elsewhere, Kev returned to rescue kidnapped Lewis – although Lewis was kidnapped because he stole he’s the ashes of his exes dead cat that was now a diamond. Lewis now knows Kev is his dad, but doesn’t want anything to do with him. Spoilers for Monday June 29 to Friday, July 3 reveal Charity does go to the police, but is given a harsh reality check when they must keep the blackmail separate from the sexual assault charge. Kev is also back in town, he moves in with Claudette and Charles and vows to win Lewis round. And, Cain finds out Kyle was the firestarter. What will he do about it? Plus, there’s a mystery victim in the latest flashforward. Beyond this, we can also look forward to watching some big storylines finally reaching their end, some huge characters may be saying goodbye – and some other villagers getting a chance to shine. We see a crime scene, a flash photograph being taken and then catch a glimpse of the victim. But who is it? And what has happened to them? This will open up a huge new storyline set to run over summer. Place your bets on what it is… Charity has told all (Credit: ITV) 2. Charity fights for justice against Dr Todd After the horrible scenes in which Dr Todd sexually assaulted Charity Dingle, Charity has been left totally broken. Although she reported it to the police, Todd lied they had consensual sex and was allowed to leave the village behind. Now, we are witnessing Charity’s falling apart. She has confessed to Mack and although he’s standing by her as she pursues justice, but ultimately their marriage is in tatters. But we are confident Dr Todd will get her comeuppance eventually. Although Emmerdale are stay tight-lipped over what’s to come, they wouldn’t do a storyline like this without seeing some form of justice served. Let’s just hope it’s soon rather than later. There’s also the question of when Sarah will find out the baby secret. And what will happen when she does? Newcomer Serena is a Sugden (Credit: ITV) 3. What is Serena hiding in Emmerdale spoilers? Serena Sugden as the newest member of the family, appeared on screent his week. She was seen the mysterious stranger who came across Charity by a lake. Charity had fled and was in a state and she ended up punching Serena when she tried to touch her. Serena correctly deduced Charity had been assaulted and counselled her over it. But Charity had no idea Serena was actually a Sugden. Serena then let herself into Robert’s house and was confronted by Sarah on Thursday June 25. Sarah asked who she was and Serena told her she was Robert’s cousin. So how does that work? Well, apparently Robert’s dad – Jack Sugden – was Serena’s grandad’s cousin. Serena’s grandad would have been the son of Jacob Sugden’s brother. So Serena and Robert are in fact first cousins, twice removed. But the big question is, why has she come looking for Robert now after 15 years? Next week we learn she knows about John, is this a clue to her true intentions? Long-lost family members don’t arrive in town without a reason – and are usually hiding a dark secret. So what is Serena hiding? The last big Emmerdale stunt was the Corriedale crash (Credit: ITV) 4. Big stunt coming this summer Emmerdale loves a stunt and this summer is no different. Show boss Laura Shaw has confirmed something is coming and it’s going to be huge. “It’s going to drop a big, massive bombshell on the village,” she told the latest issue of Inside Soap. “That is going to change lives forever.” With no more details, we have no idea who it will involve and what the consequences will be, but Emmerdale never fails to deliver on these things, right? Is Jamie Tate coming back? (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) 5. More Tates on their way to Emmerdale! In the same interview Laura said her focus is on building out the Tate and Sugden families. She said she wants the show to remember Sarah is a Sugden and with Jacob having the Sugden name it puts them firmly in that camp. “There’s going to be a couple of arrivals to strengthen both the Tate and Sugden clans,” she confirmed, without giving away who. Talk has immediately turned online to the possibility of either a Jamie Tate return. Or the comeback of Zoe Tate’s daughter, Jean, who Joe grew up with in New Zealand. Or could it be another Tate we’ve never even heard of before? Look who’s back, Sadie’s back! (Credit: ITV) 6. Sadie King is back in Emmerdale spoilers Emmerdale confirmed on Thursday May 14 the rumours are true: Patsy Kensit is making a comeback to the Yorkshire Dales. Jimmy King‘s ex-wife first arrived in 2004 and departed in 2006. And boy did she cause trouble while she was there. Of her return, show producer Laura Shaw said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Patsy Kensit back to the cast and crucially to see the iconic Sadie King storm back into the village. “Her return will be explosive and guaranteed to shock. Sadie’s seductive demeanor, combined with her utterly ruthless nature, are set to deliver a spectacular and highly dramatic touch of class to the Yorkshire Dales.” Patsy is equally as thrilled about her comeback. She said: “I am really excited to return to Emmerdale. I treasure the years I was here before. “Sadie King is a character that I really loved playing. The cast and crew are absolutely brilliant and I am so grateful for the chance to return to the show, it’s absolutely amazing.” Dawn is still in the Dales for now (Credit: ITV) 7. An exit for Dawn? It was reported recently that Emmerdale has ‘axed’ Olivia Bromley as Dawn Fletcher after eight years in the soap. A source told The Sun: “Olivia is adored by everyone at Emmerdale so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all. “She’s a popular member of the cast and if they can get rid of Olivia then the feeling is virtually no-one is safe. “Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months.” The news of Olivia’s exit is said to have gone down badly with other members of the cast. Olivia’s set to film her leaving scenes later this year, however the exact date of her departure is unknown, but is likely to be around the summer time. No details of her end storyline have been given, but she seems to have give Joe another chance after all his lying and scheming. But for how long? Is Kim being played? (Credit: ITV) 8. What is Graham up to? They might have given in to their passion recently, but Graham quickly regretted it and tried to kill Kim! She believes she accidentally took too many painkillers and it was a sign to slow down. However we know it was Graham. He has said he is going to “try something else” to get rid of her, but Andrew Scarborough who plays Graham has revealed he’s not sure Graham does want to kill Kim. In fact, he thinks feelings are still there between them. So will this end in death or romance? Graham is also secretly working with someone in this plot, so who is it? What is he up to overall? There must be more to come from his return… The pair have recently called a truce and there’s been some definite flirting between them. So is Graham’s story really over as far as Kim is concerned? Cain is adamant he’s not having radiotherapy (Credit: ITV) 9. Cain death shock? We have seen Cain find out he is battling aggressive prostate cancer. He has undergone a radical prostatectomy and is suffering side-effects including incontinence and erectile dysfunction. Cain has survived the operation, but now the real fight comes as he battles to rebuild his life and face the after-effects. Can Cain cope with this? He has now been told the cancer has spread and he needs radiotherapy. However, Cain is refusing treatment. He would rather live whatever years he has left normally than face a life-time of side-effects. Will he change his mind? Or has he just given himself a death sentence? Kammy has confessed in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) 10. Kammy mum and sister to arrive in Emmerdale spoilers? Kammy revealed the truth to Belle last week about why he was homeless. He confessed his dad had died when he was 15 and he had gone off the rails. He started stealing cars and joyriding them until they’d run out of petrol. But his sister was worried about him and tried to take one of the cars back. However she had an accident and the police got involved. Kammy took the blame. He was facing serious prison time, but the judge was lenient given the death of his dad and he didn’t go down. But he was so ashamed of the pain he had caused his mother, he left his family. So now we know Kammy has a mum and sister out there somewhere, and if we know Emmerdale, a story like this will only just be getting started. With Kammy proving to be a popular character since his arrival a year ago, it makes sense for his family to arrive in the Dales too for a fresh start. Fans certainly seem to think so on social media: “Will his family move to Dales?” queried one. Another added: “Bring in his family!” “This is all leading to Kammy’s family eventually arriving,” said a third. A fourth wrote: “I’m excited about this I hope they bring [his sister] into it.” Reports suggest Jimmy is off (Credit: ITV) 11. Exit for Jimmy King? The Sun has reported that Jimmy King is to be killed off after 22 years on the soap. Jimmy, played by Nick Miles since 2004, is set to exit later this year. Although no official confirmation has appeared from Emmerdale, the story reports that his exit will tie in with ex-wife Sadie’s return to the village. A source told the publication: “Everyone is shocked and it shows that no one is safe from the budget cuts. “Bosses are under pressure to cut costs and sadly that means popular cast members being told their time is up.” They added: “Once the decision was made that Nick would be leaving, the writers quickly realised his character wouldn’t abandon his wife and children so they had to kill him off. “That’s what made them approach Patsy about returning.” Jimmy is the last remaining of the four King brothers after Matthew, Carl and Max were also all killed off. Their dad Tom King also met his maker in a huge whodunnit. Vinny is also said to be leaving (Credit: ITV) 12. Goodbye Vinny? It was reported by The Sun recently that Vinny Dingle is leaving the soap in a move that is said to have left Lisa Riley, who plays his on-screen mum Mandy Dingle, “devastated”. A source told the publication: “Bradley is a very popular member of the cast and especially close with his on-screen Dingle family. “Everyone is shocked that bosses decided to axe him but it’s all part of the ITV cuts and they still need to trim back the cast. “They are making less episodes so don’t need as many characters.” They added: “Lisa is devastated. She adores Bradley and they have such a close bond. It just shows that no-one is safe.” Emmerdale has made no comment. Vinny was involved in a huge storyline last year where he married Gabby Thomas, but was questioning his own sexuality at the time. He ended up being beaten and extorted by a man he met on an online forum. Gabby eventually found out when Vinny stood up in court. Despite trying to make their marriage work, the couple separated.
