Good and bad news for Moira next week as Robert and Aaron find new evidence

Aaron knows Robert planted the evidence against Moira in Emmerdale and he is determined to fix it. The good news is they do find new evidence next week and it could potentially change everything for Moira.

The bad news? Moira is determined to plead guilty and it may well come too late…

Emmerdale tonight saw Robert confess to Aaron

After deciding to bring Joe Tate down, Robert and Ross tried to hack into his laptop on Friday April 10. Only Ross, who said he knew the password, actually didn’t know it at all.

Robert was annoyed and sent Ross away so he could try on his own. But Dawn caught him. She threatened to call the police when his story about needing to check a feed delivery didn’t wash.

So Robert told her everything. She found the video of Victoria killing John and watched it (it clearly proved self-defence, but hey, we knew that anyway). Horrified Dawn waited to confront Joe, while Robert went home to Aaron.

And it was here he confessed what he’d done to Moira. He only came clean when Aaron overheard Ross demanding his payment.

Aaron was absolutely furious and told Robert he didn’t know if he could forgive him.

Dawn later contacted Robert to say she’d deleted the video. She told Joe she didn’t want to see or talk to him and went with the kids to stay at Billy’s. Is this the end of them for good?

Meanwhile, Aaron told Robert he wasn’t going to turn him in. Instead they were going to work together to find new evidence to free Moira. But he warned Rob he had no idea where it left them as a couple as he still couldn’t forgive him.

New evidence is found next week to help Moira in Emmerdale

On Sunday (April 12) Robert visits Bear in prison. He pressures him into giving more information that could help Moira’s case. Paddy is fuming when he finds out and lays into Robert.

But then Kyle goes missing, having discovered Moira is pleading guilty. Robert finds him and realising he is to blame for all of this, decides to turn himself in. Aaron persuades him to wait one night and it’s a good job he does because that’s the night Bear calls having remembered the number plates he hid for Ray.

Kammy then traces them to a storage unit in Hotten and the boys head straight there. However the dozens of identical containers make it near impossible to find which one they need so they give up.

That’s when Marlon steps in and remembers the key he found at Celia’s. Sure enough it’s just what they need and it reveals loads of new evidence inside the unit.

But is it too late?

Meanwhile, Cain is desperate to persuade Moira to fight. She won’t listen though and says getting back to her boys quickly is her number one priority.

However, when he is presented with the new evidence Cain faces a race against time to get to court. Just as Moira is escorted in, he arrives and shouts out the news to her.

Will she be persuaded to change her plea? Is it too late? And is this evidence enough to see her walk free?
