So Robert and Aaron have a plan and next week it becomes very clear. But fans aren’t keen on the idea that Kev will be gone for good. In fact, they’ve done a total U-turn on the character and want him to stay! Kev dragged Liam in to help with the robbery (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale tonight – Kev committed an armed robbery Determined to get his hands on the £2k Robert needs for farm machinery in order to win him back, delusional Kev had a plan. He got himself a gun and a black holdall and took a hat and scarf from lost property at the shop. But things hit a snag when his getaway driver was banned from helping him. So he faked heart pain in front of Liam, who drove him to Hotten to collect his prescription, but instead Kev ran inside and robbed a pawn shop. He came rushing back out and ordered Liam to drive. Flustered Liam did as he was told as the truth dawned on him. Kev had taken cash, jewellery and a Samari sword. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers It was the sword that put Aaron and Robert on to him. When they heard it had been taken they realised Kev, who is really into martial arts, was probably behind it. Robert went to confront him and caught him red-handed with the stolen loot. Kev then confessed all the money he thought he had was gone due to his fellow robbers taking it all and running off to Spain. Rob returned to Aaron and told him. Aaron insisted the only way out of the whole mess was to get Kev arrested again for the robbery. Kev is taken in for questioning following Aaron and Robert’s set up (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale spoilers for next week show Kev is arrested Next week Robert tries to find out where Kev has hidden his loot from the robbery. But Kev isn’t forthcoming with any answers. He tells Robert that he doesn’t like being lied to. This makes Robert panic that Kev knows about him and Aaron and is biding his time for payback. Later, Robert updates Aaron on the situation as they fear they’ll never find Kev’s swag. But they still push ahead and update Chas on what they’re going to do. Soon Liam arrives and start acting suspiciously. He then confesses Kev was never terminally ill. The news makes Robron renew their determination to deal with Kev. Later that day Kev is alone in the church as he pulls out a holdall with his spoils inside. But what he doesn’t realise is that Aaron is lurking nearby and has seen everything. Aaron makes a call to Robert – and it’s not long before the police arrive on the scene. DS Carter hauls Kev down to the station, where he’s faced with questions about his role in the armed robbery. Will Kev realise who was behind his arrest and take revenge? Or have Robron succeeded in their plan to get Kev put back behind bars? Kev is now a hit with fans(Credit: ITV) Fans love Kev in Emmerdale After weeks of hating on Kev, it’s become clear viewers are changing their minds. As his connection to Lewis has been exposed, we are seeing a different side to him and his karaoke turn earlier this week was definitely a hit. “I love Kev can we keep him please?” wrote one on social media. Another echoed the sentiment: “Kev’s a great addition! Hope he stays permanently.” “Kev’s great fun to watch, hope he gets to stay, he’s so entertaining! Crochet, baking, karaoke, armed robbery…just a few casual little hobbies!” laughed a third. A fourth wrote: “Gun or not, I’m now utterly in love with Kev and don’t want him to leave.” As he’s not dying any time soon and he’s also Lewis’ dad, there are possibilities for him to stay.
