Billy will get framed for pushing Joe new Emmerdale fan theory predicts

Joe won't take Billy's threats lying down

A new Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that Billy Fletcher could be framed for pushing Joe Tate out of the window. Joe regained consciousness this week, after being attacked at Home Farm.

He was in a coma for a few days, during which time the police launched an investigation into the attack. DS Desari initially arrested Billy for the crime, suspecting the wronged husband – but freed him again after Dawn provided a (false) alibi.

She then revealed that she’d pushed Joe in a moment of anger, leaving Billy shocked.

Joe threatened Billy

After learning that Dawn is in love with Joe, Billy told her that he wanted full custody of the kids – and threatened to tell the police that she’d been the one who pushed him.

But, having none of it, Joe summoned Billy to the hospital, where he told him that he’d do everything within his power to prevent that from happening. A magnanimous decision, given she put him in hospital.

And with Joe having apparently forgiven Dawn already, he’s now set on helping her keep the kids. But what does he have planned for her ex?

Joe to frame Billy for window push, Emmerdale fans predict

Writing on X as last night’s episode aired, fans shared their thoughts on what the future might hold for Billy… and many feared he may be left holding the bag for the attack.

“Dawn & Joe are gunna frame billy,” wrote one fan.

“Joe & Dawn are going to frame Billy & stop all chances of custody of any of the kids,” said another.

“Joe is definitely going to frame Billy now he knows about the custody battle,” a third agreed.

Is Billy in danger of losing his children… and his freedom?
