The actor, who recently celebrated his 35th birthday, took to Instagram Stories to reveal they had decided on ‘New Year, new Aaron’. Danny Miller in Aaron’s new ‘tur-neck’! (Credit: Instagram Stories) Danny Miller reveals ‘change’ to Aaron’s appearance in Emmerdale Filming himself talking into a mirror, Danny spoke to the camera and said: “So this year I said: ‘it’s a new year, it’s a new me’. Therefore, it’s a new Aaron as well. “So costume said ‘Well, can we try something with you?’ and I said ‘Yeah let’s do it’. And they said ‘Do you fancy a new, smarter Aaron, still in black of course’. And their response was this.” Danny then moved the camera round to show himself dressed – all in black – but with a jumper on under his coat. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers “It’s not a turtleneck, I am assured,” he said as he tugged at the distinctly looking turtleneck jumper. “I suppose you could call it a ‘tur-neck’.” The tongue-in-cheek video was a definite hit with fans. “He’s absolutely hilarious! Always a joy to open instagram or Facebook and see a post from Danny,” shared one in response. Another agreed: “I love Danny so much!! His humour is just brilliant!!” A third added: “How gorgeous does he look?” However a fourth commented: “But would love to see Aaron in some colour though.” Aaron and John were in the Corriedale crash (Credit: ITV) Aaron on-screen It’s been anything but a quiet start to the new year for Aaron Dingle. His killer husband turned up over Christmas and took Robert’s psycho husband hostage (bad taste in men, boys, really!). John then planned to use Kev to kill Robert, but it didn’t go well when Kev was freed and warned Aaron exactly what was going on. Aaron found John holding Robert hostage and trying to gas him. After a while Aaron and Robert managed to overpower John and held him hostage instead. Aaron tricked John into driving them to the police station, but on the way they were involved in the huge Corriedale crash. John escaped and ran into the woods, only to be confronted and killed by his sister Victoria (in self-defence, though apparently that doesn’t matter in Soapland). Meanwhile at the crash site, Robert had arrived and he and Aaron got engaged again. Aw. Aaron and Robert are the only ones who know what Victoria did, them and Joe Tate who filmed the whole thing instead of actually helping. They have vowed to do whatever they can to protect Victoria, including Joe’s bidding. But Aaron currently has no idea that has included framing his aunt Moira Dingle for human trafficking. How will he react when he finds out what Robert did to his family? One thing’s for sure, it certainly won’t be enough to bring a pop of colour into his wardrobe in celebration!
