With the UEFA Women’s League airing between 5.30 – 8.20, that leaves Emmerdale fans out in the cold, and Ruby’s confession to the police up in the air. Needless to say, loyal viewers weren’t happy. And many weren’t amused at playing second fiddle to the football again. “Firstly best of luck to the Lionesses, but why isn’t this shown on any of the other channels? And what happens next Following its day off, Emmerdale will return to schedules on Wednesday (June 4) with an hour-long double bill between 7pm and 8pm. These episodes will also be available to stream on ITVX at 7am, as usual. When the soap returns on Wednesday, the fallout of Ruby’s confession begins to make itself known. Discovering Ruby gone, Caleb realises what she’s done – and sends his solicitor on her trail, armed with a plan. Elsewhere, the police arrive with some bad news for Tracy, and Cain looks forward to a quieter future… unaware of the bombshell about to land. Meanwhile, Pollard struggles with his recent fall, and Sarah worries about how she’ll fund her IVF. And, as Dawn arrives for her first day at Take A Vow, Belle offers struggling April a summer job.
