Emmerdale has aired yet another huge setback for Cain Dingle, as he admitted things may have reached “the end of the road”. It’s been a turbulent few months for Cain. With Moira in prison, and him dealing with his cancer diagnosis in secret, while trying to run the farm, he has truly been pushed to the limit. But when Vanessa and Joe gave him even more bad news tonight, things got even worse. Joe gave Cain some more bad news (Credit: ITV) Cain faced even more problems in Emmerdale In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Cain was once again annoyed to find Joe Tate sitting at his kitchen table. But he wasn’t alone. Vanessa was with him, and they informed Cain that there had been a TB outbreak and one of his cows had tested positive. What this meant for Cain was that one of his cows had to be isolated, while the rest were being tested. And until the tests were complete, nothing could be moved on or off the farm. But if any of the others come back positive, then the whole herd would have to go. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Vanessa was very sympathetic with the situation, telling Cain she knew how many years went into growing the farm. But Cain looked defeated as he admitted: “So that’s it then. It’s the end of the road.” And things got even worse as Joe once again offered to buy the farm. However, this time, instead of yelling at him to get out, Cain stayed silent on the matter. As it’s obvious how much Cain is struggling with everything, Graham advises him to sell the farm before he breaks. But will Cain listen? And as that’s going on, he also has the matter of Sarah trying to get him to continue to steal cars. But this goes wrong itself, as Jacob catches her trying to steal Dr Todd’s car. This leads to Sarah heading to see Cain, begging him to tell his family about his cancer diagnosis. As she calls him a coward, will this be the push Cain needs? or will it push him over the edge?
