Emmerdale fans have predicted that Jacob will let Joe die in hospital to avenge his mum Leyla’s death.

Joe was pushed out of a top floor window last week, with numerous suspects in the frame. After Jacob treated him at the hospital, he discovered Joe’s role in the limo crash.

Fans now believe Jacob Gallagher could “finish him off”.

The majority of the village were suspects when Joe was pushed out of a window at Home Farm following Lydia Dingle’s 50th birthday party.

As Joe Tate lay in a puddle of glass, he was discovered by Noah. Kim Tate called an ambulance and the pair of them went with Joe to the hospital.

It was revealed that Joe had a fractured pelvis. But his condition soon worsened when he suffered a bleed on the brain and was placed in an induced coma.

In his duty as a trainee doctor, Jacob was part of the team treating Joe. But he was less than impressed when it came to light that Joe had drugged Noah and therefore was inadvertently responsible for the limo crash, which killed Jacob’s mum Leyla as well as Suzy and Amy.

“So all of this is his fault? I’ve just been trying to save his life,” he said. However, fans are now speculating that Jacob will stop trying to save Joe’s life…

Fans predict Jacob will let Joe die

Emmerdale fans have been speculating whether Jacob will abuse his position at the hospital and allow Joe to die.

“Jacob’s going to pull a double shift and smother Joe,” wrote one fan on X. While another added: “I just hope Jacob finishes the job so Joe is finally gone.”

A third fan said: “Yes Dr Jacob switch Joe off on your next Shift.” With a fourth writing: “Jacob’s gonna finish him off regardless of who pushed him…”

A fifth fan said: “Guessing Jacob will go after Joe and he’s got me and Springfield following him!” This was accompanied by a picture of The Simpsons scene, depicting the residents of Springfield with pitchforks and torches.
