And Dylan's at death's door Can someone please remind Marlon that he's a Dingle? April Windsor Celia Daniels Dylan Penders Features Ray Walters Share By Kerry Barrett Dec 6 2025 By Kerry Barrett Dec 6 2025 Our Emmerdale review this week is full of relief, because FINALLY April has told her parents everything about what’s been happening. Except it didn’t really work out how we’d hoped. And Ray and Celia ended the week back in top. Again. Plus Dylan’s at death’s door after things took a very nasty turn. Here’s what we thought of the action – and there was a lot of it – in our Emmerdale review. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Celia wanted Dylan to attack Robbie (Credit: ITV) Dylan’s downfall Dylan was ‘promoted’ and given the job of managing the workers at the turkey farm. In a dark twist, one of his first jobs was to beat up another young employee. He didn’t do it – and we were very pleased about that. But being around the turkey farm workers meant Dylan came face-to-face with Bear. And he recognised him from the photos round Mandy and Paddy’s house. When Celia realised Dylan knew Bear, she was furious. And as Mandy and Paddy and all of Dylan’s friends gathered to celebrate his 18th birthday, she tried to keep him away. April told her horrified parents the truth (Credit: ITV) April’s anguish Meanwhile, April finally told Marlon and Rhona what was going on – thanks to a bit of prodding from Dylan who was determined to keep April safe. But it didn’t go well. April and Marlon went to the police, then left without telling them anything. But they were still determined to tell the authorities until April spilled the beans about Callum – the man she thinks she killed. And then Celia turned up at the house and got very nasty indeed. Ray livestreamed himself running poor Dylan over and leaving him for dead (Credit: ITV) Worst birthday ever! Dylan, for some reason, decided to tell Ray what was going on. He spilled the beans about April going to the police. He told Ray he was a victim too and he talked him into going to the police with him. Except obviously he didn’t because Ray is just as evil as evil Celia. And what Ray actually did – with the whole thing streamed live to Celia’s phone – was run Dylan over instead. April, Marlon and Rhona were horrified. Celia was smug. We viewers watching at home were shocked at the brutality. Somehow, Dylan didn’t die. But he’s in a bad way. This week’s drama was gripping, there’s no doubt. We actually can’t wait to see what happens next week. But we do have some questions about the whole thing… It’s not looking good for Dylan (Credit: ITV) April and Callum April’s been looking at Callum’s socials. She’s found out enough about him through her internet sleuthing to know where he lives, and his family set-up. And yet, she didn’t question why on those socials there were no messages of sympathy to his family about his supposed ‘death’? She didn’t notice a total lack of news reports about a local man going missing? Or a body being found? We know April’s not the brightest spark, and she’s scared, and she trusts Ray for reasons that we can’t quite fathom. But Marlon and Rhona were quick enough to twig that Ray had set April up back when her deal went wrong and put her in his debt. And yet, they didn’t consider this ‘murder’ was also a set-up? Apparently not. Cain is FIERCE. Please tell him what’s going on (Credit: ITV) They are DINGLES! We know we’ve banged on about this before, but for the love of god, how has Marlon forgotten that he is a Dingle? So when he and Rhona were shaking and crying and wondering what they could do now they’d been backed into a corner by Celia and Ray, the answer to their dilemma remained a mystery. But the answer is, OBVIOUSLY, to tell Cain. Of course, Marlon should really tell Cain anyway, because Celia is in partnership with Moira. But that aside, Cain is clearly the answer to this problem. And not just Cain. Aaron, too, and the rest of the Dingles. Ray wouldn’t stand a chance with them on his case. In fact, we reckon Charity could probably take down Celia on her own – or perhaps she’d let Moira help (and we’d love to see it). Heck, just set Mandy on them. She’d soon have the evil pair begging for mercy. Marlon and Rhona could even pop off to see Mystic for a couple of weeks if they’re worried things are too risky for them in the village. This is not going to end well (Credit: ITV) Ray and Laurel Ray seems to be living a double life. One minute he’s doling out abuse to the workers on the turkey farm, the next he’s wooing Laurel and being all cute. We’re not sure what he’s up to with poor Laurel, or what his end game is. What does he think is going to happen here? Does he think he and Laurel can live happily ever after and she won’t mind that he’s been dealing drugs and abusing teenagers and exploiting vulnerable people? It’s a bit odd. And it’s especially uncomfortable when he’s around Laurel’s kids. Poor Laurel. Though we are a little confused by her willingness to accept that Ray has to keep leaving their dates because of some urgent, combine-harvester emergency. He never goes to work, Laurel! He’s always hanging round the village looking shifty. Ask more questions! Ray is always around just at the right moment (Credit: ITV) Ray always being one step ahead We are slightly bothered by Celia and Ray always being one step ahead. It’s a great plot device used once or even twice, but it’s getting a bit much! Every time Dylan or April seems to be wriggling free, Celia or Ray are there, wandering into people’s living rooms, strolling through the village at just the right moment, and making threats. We’re just not sure how they know so much. Are they tracking the teenagers? Do they have a network of spies? How did Ray know about Rhona’s torment at the hands of Pierce? We’ve spotted another Corriedale clue! (Credit: ITV) Belle and April Away from the troubled teens’ torment there was a nice moment between Belle and April this week, as Belle clocked something was up with the youngster. We’re hoping April might confide in her. And there was a little teaser for Corriedale when Belle mentioned a wedding she was planning in Manchester. Is her client – the one who owns hotels – Debbie Webster?
