Ever since Robert made his highly anticipated return to the village, Emmerdale fans have been desperate for Robron to reunite. The pair remain the most adored couple in the whole village – despite not being together for six years. While hope seemed a little low lately, fans noticed Robert’s choice of words may have hinted that he will never give up on Aaron. And it came right as he was grovelling to John after his attack. Robert apologised to stay out of prison (Credit: ITV) Robert attacked John – then apologised Friday night’s instalment included Robert attempting to apologise to John after he bashed him over the head with a spanner (he really had it coming). John being John was oh so forgiving to his brother, and promised he wouldn’t go to the police about Robert’s attack. But on one condition – Robert had to swear to leave Aaron and him alone. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers This is obviously something Robert’s not going to want to do considering he wants his ex back (so do we). But knowing it was his only way to stay out of prison, Robert agreed. However, that wasn’t what he actually swore. Eagle-eyed Robron fans noticed that after John made him promise to stay away from Aaron, Robert chose his words very carefully. He told John: “I swear, I’ll get help.” But conveniently didn’t actually mention staying away from the man he loves. John however, was just happy to be in control and didn’t pick up on it. But Robron fans did. And it made them very happy. Fans think Aaron was actually happy to see Robert (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans react to Robert’s wording about Aaron Taking to X, Emmerdale fans all spoke about how they think Robert will continue to go after Aaron. And they’re all desperate for it. One wrote: “He didn’t say anything about not going near Aaron. He swore he would get help. That’s not the same thing. I love this.” Another added: “Robert only swore he would get help – not stay away from Aaron. The way I see it is Robron reunion starts from now.” “John’s too in his own head to realise Robert was carefully choosing his words. Robron reunion is coming soon” a third penned. While we have no idea when Robert and Aaron will reunite, it seems very likely that it would happen at some point. Because let’s face it, everyone loves them and we know they can’t live without each other.
