Ross Barton made a surprising and well-welcomed return to Emmerdale last year. At the beginning Ross was used quite a lot. But over the last few months he has merely had background cameos in other plots. But now, fans are demanding another storyline for him. And many call for it to be something huge which shows off Mike Parr’s amazing acting skills. And while we all love his funny one-liners, Mike Parr is capable of so much more. And Emmerdale fans are now all realising that too. Over the years, Ross was at his best when he was in the middle of a huge storyline. He gripped viewers so many times with his love for Donna and how he dealt with her death. Then when he was in love with Debbie. And the common denominator was a storyline for Ross. One wrote: “I think it would be amusing to watch Ross and Robert team up and work together. The Tate’s want both Annie’s field and Moira’s farm. If Robert and Ross were forced to work together, especially in light of recent tensions, I think it would be great fun.” Another agreed: “Yes. A proper storyline for Ross.
