Kim hasn’t been on our screens much recently. And it seems the reason may be that she has been busy with her new boyfriend. While we don’t know who he is, we got some hints about the romance tonight. Since Will died on Christmas Day, Kim hasn’t been in a relationship with anyone. Instead she seemed to put all her energy into work and family life. But it looks like someone has managed to wow the Queen of Home Farm. Ultimately all of her relationships have slowly crashed and burned. But she thought things changed when she got married to Will in 2022. For a few months they even embarked on revenge schemes behind each other’s backs. But just as things were looking up, Joe Tate arrived and told Kim that Will had been plotting her downfall behind her back. Not getting a chance to defend himself, Will fell to the ground suffering a heart attack and ultimately died. Since then, Kim has remained like a mum to Dawn, Will’s daughter, who still lives in Home Farm with her own children. But if Kim has got a new man six months after Will’s death, will her relationship with Dawn be okay? Tonight’s episode definitely hinted that Emmerdale icon Kim has a new boyfriend. Kim Tate new boyfriend (Credit: ITV) Kim Tate is texting mystery boyfriend Tonight, Joe was still trying to work out who is messing with him, and asked Kim if she had anyone round to the house. Instead of saying yes or no, Kim simply avoided the question and wondered why Joe wanted to know. Later in the episode, Joe caught Kim smiling at her phone texting someone, and was intrigued to know more about him. But when he asked who it was, she told him it was “none of your business”. Joe tried to have a business conversation with her, but she was distracted by her phone, wanting to text her mystery boyfriend. And when he left the room, we got to see her messages. Kim has been texting a man named Eddie, and it seems things have already been progressing for the pair. In the messages, Eddie can be seen telling Kim he was “thinking” of her and was looking forward “to winding down”. And Kim appeared just as keen asking him: “When do I get to see you again?” Kim Tate new boyfriend (Credit: ITV) Who is Kim Tate’s new boyfriend? There’s nobody called Eddie in the Emmerdale village so it’s safe to assume Kim met him somewhere different. Could Eddie be a mystery businessman working with her? Perhaps work turned into romance? Or is there a story to Eddie that we’re yet to discover? Some fans have predicted that Kim is headed for romance with Billy Fletcher, noticing the pair getting closer. It would be an extremely unexpected and unlikely pairing, but is it possible that Kim is using a fake name to hide her relationship with Billy? Nothing is ever quiet for long at Home Farm, especially when Kim is involved so we can maybe expect some fireworks. But after everything, we hope that Kim Tate can finally find a boyfriend to go the distance!
