After Kev Townsend held them at sword-point in Emmerdale yesterday (Thursday November 27), Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden make a big decision about their future today. Shaken and worried by Kev’s parting threat, Robron think there is only one way out of this and take action immediately. We said goodbye to Kev yesterday (Credit: ITV) Kev threatened Aaron and Robert and left Emmerdale Kev found out about Robert and Aaron‘s reunion on Wednesday November 26 and on Thursday he confronted them. He lay in wait at Aaron’s flat for them to emerge from the bedroom. The boys discovered him on their sofa waving a Samuari sword at them. Liam also arrived and was welcomed up to the flat only to find himself smack bang in the middle of a hostage situation. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Robert tried to talk him round, but Aaron wasn’t bowing down to Kev and called him a “spoilt little kid”. The argument tipped Kev over the edge and he lunged with the sword seriously injuring Robert. Liam said Robert was in a bad way and needed urgent medical attention, but Kev still refused to let them go. However after the police turned up looking for Caleb, it spooked Kev. Eventually Robert and Liam got through to him. They told him this was his chance to leave otherwise he’d end up back in prison. Kev finally allowed them all to go and left town himself. Not before issuing a warning to Robron that he ‘always gets revenge’ and stopping Lewis and saying his own cryptic sort of goodbye. Robert and Aaron want to put their ordeal behind them and start fresh (Credit: ITV) Another exit tonight In scenes from tonight’s Emmerdale, Robert and Aaron are both shaken after what happened with Kev. Robert is worried about his parting shot and sure Kev will be lurking around the corner ready to pounce. Aaron can see his partner is stressed. Robert hasn’t slept and it’s clealy resurfacing a lot of trauma for him. So Aaron takes action. He announces they are leaving. He won’t tell Robert where they are going, nor will he disclose any information to Victoria. Aaron also won’t say how long they are going for. He simply tells Robert to pack a bag because they are going to get away. Thankfully it doesn’t seem like this is a permanent exit. After all, we know Danny Miller is involved in the Corriedale crossover episode to air next year. And those rumours of a return for his psycho ex John Sugden just won’t go away, either. Ryan Hawley has also talked about Robert’s state of panic this December and how at Christmas there is a “threat to life” for the boys. So this is just a much-needed break.
