Sick Joe is currently hard at work trying to save his own life by replacing his dodgy kidney with a healthy one – that of blood relative Caleb. As he confirmed this week, a relative’s kidney gives a lesser chance of rejection than a stranger, hence his pursuit of uncle Caleb and half-brother Noah. We know Joe’s motives, but a new fan theory has suggested that there might be another organ thief in town – and that they killed Nate. But who might Emmerdale’s mystery psycho surgeon be? She passed out this week after an apparent overdose, but viewers are convinced that there’s more at play.
