It might be exactly what fans wanted when April admits to Marlon and Rhona that she’s a drug dealer and murderer. But as the horrified couple insist they must go to the police they are stopped in their tracks when Celia arrives. Of course she has another plan up her sleeve to regain control. This isn’t over yet… Sigh. The evil pair have repeatedly forced her to break the law, with Celia even threatening to kill April if she didn’t follow orders. Marlon may have picked up on his daughter’s distant behaviour, but remains oblivious to the extent of her suffering. Episode_date, April is preparing to leave the village again on a new errand for Ray. Fearing for his girlfriend’s safety, Dylan urges Marlon to get April to go to the police. This sends Marlon into a panic as he worries what kind bother she’s in. As Marlon heads off in search of April, Dylan goes into Tenants to collect his phone. Celia soon arrives at the house and clocks a picture of Bear. Realising Paddy’s missing father is the same man she and Ray have been holding captive, Celia knows she may have a problem on her hands. While Celia tries to figure out what to do, Marlon intercepts April on her way to the bus stop with a bag in hand. When he questions what kind of trouble she’s in, April is stunned. April spills the beans to Marlon and Rhona (Credit: ITV) April confesses everything Worried April tries to insist everything is fine, but Marlon can tell she’s lying. He takes her back to Smithy, where he and Rhona push for answers. Eventually, April breaks down in tears, admitting she’s been dealing drugs for Ray and was on her way to another job. As Marlon and Rhona try and take in what they’ve learnt, their instinct is to protect April. The couple plead with her to abandon Ray’s job and stay with them while they figure out what to do. Panic sets in when Marlon announces he’s going to the police and April insists it’s a bad idea. But as he heads towards the door, April drops another bombshell – confessing she killed Callum! Of course we all know she didn’t kill Callum at all, but April still thinks the man who tried to rape her is dead. Marlon, Rhona and April open the door to find Celia standing there. She wants to discuss something with the family, but by the looks on their faces they’re not happy to see her. Moments later, Celia receives a video call from Ray and props her phone up. We know the end is nigh for Celia and Ray – but will Marlon be the one to bring the evil duo down?
