Needing to unburden his guilt, John pours his heart out to the person on the other end of the phone. But is he about to reveal too much? Cain is reeling from the news about Nate’s killer (Credit: ITV) Cain is in hell over Nate in Emmerdale spoilers John is secretly congratulating himself after managing to pull off his plan to frame Owen for Nate’s murder. He also hopes that everyone can get back to normal now DS Walsh and her team have ‘got their man’. But moving on isn’t going to be easy for heartbroken Cain, who’s still deep in grief for his dead son. As John arrives to see him, he finds Cain in a terrible state and kicks himself for assuming his mood would have lifted. Things are far from okay, and DS Walsh’s revelation about Owen’s suicide and murder confession has left Cain with more questions than answers. This is not the outcome John was hoping for, and it leaves him feeling worse than ever. When Liam still refuses to tell him anything about Owen, Cain sees red and loses his temper. Afterwards, Liam confides in John about his run-in with Cain. Having lost his own daughter Leanna, Liam knows the pain that Cain is feeling. He tries to explain to John about the harrowing effect a death of a child can have on a parent. Liam’s words cut deep and John realises by framing Owen, he’s also robbed Cain of the chance to get justice. In turmoil, John sends a text to the helpline and recieves a message back from the volunteer he’s previously spoken to. But when the volunteer suggests they arrange a phone call it’s clear John is torn what to do. Will he risk his identity being exposed? Will Paddy discover John’s killer secret?
