Armed with a loaded syringe, the killer contemplates taking his own brother’s life. Is Robert about to become John’s next victim? John is raging with Robert over Vic’s black eye (Credit:: ITV) John is on the warpath with Robert in Emmerdale spoilers Robert’s return to the village has really put the cat amongst the pigeons. John is feeling under threat because he knows Robert is on a mission to win back Aaron’s heart. He tried to threaten his sibling, which was a bad move because now Robert suspects John has a sinister side. Meanwhile, poor Victoria has been bearing the brunt of Robert’s rage as he struggles to adapt to life outside of prison. Tensions came to a head last week when Robert lashed out, causing Vic to suffer a black eye. In the aftermath of his outburst, Robert is consumed with guilt. He decides it’s best if he moved out of Keepers Cottage, but Victoria is worried about him. Elsewhere, John pays Caleb a visit and pressurises him into ending Robert’s trial at the Depot. Caleb breaks the news to Robert, inventing a reason for having to let him go. But then Jai lets the cat out of the bag and confirms it was John who orchestrated the whole thing. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Victoria is stuck between her warring brothers (Credit: ITV) Fuming at John’s meddling, Robert confronts him in the street. Victoria steps in to try and diffuse the situation, but when John clocks her black eye he’s more determined than ever to see the back of his brother. Later, he goes to see Vic and pleads with her to report Robert to the police for assault. Robert overhears their conversation and is left feeling fearful that he’ll end up back behind bars. He goes to Aaron and asks his ex if he can help. But Aaron’s had enough of Robert’s manipulation and tells him to do one. Robert’s attempt to Aaron jealous fails miserably (Credit: ITV) Robert goes on the rebound Stung by Aaron’s rejection, Robert proceeds to drown his sorrows. He also links with a casual hook-up, who he hopes will be able to take his mind off his woes. Robert feels on a high as he flirts with his date, but the smile is wiped off his face when Aaron walks past and shows no reaction. He can see straight through Robert’s attempts to make him jealous and it’s not working. As Robert heads inside, his date takes out a vial and drugs his beer. John watches on in his van nearby, and decides to use the situation to his advantage… Robert gets drugged by his date (Credit: ITV) John prepares to kill Robert in Emmerdale spoilers Having witnessed Robert drinking his laced beer, John intercepts the date and bundles his unconscious brother into his campervan. He drives Robert out of the village, where no one can see them. With the coast clear, John opens up the back and is pleased to find Robert is still out for the count. Things are looking bleak for Robert as John pulls out a syringe and contemplates injecting Robert with a fatal overdose. Is he about to commit another murder? A short while later, Robert regains consciousness and is terrified to find himself in John’s van with no memory of how he got there. Will John play the hero once again and claim he saved Robert from a predatory rapist? Or will Robert realise there was a sinister agenda at play?
