Cain is furious that Jacob knows more about Sarah’s life than he does (Credit: ITV) Cain discovers the truth about Sarah’s cancer in Emmerdale spoilers Up until now Cain has been in the dark about Sarah’s IVF journey, with only Jacob and Charity knowing the truth. But that all changes when Jacob accidentally puts his foot in it. Cain is raging when he realises Jacob knows more about his own granddaughter’s life he does. He grabs Jacobs and starts threatening him, as Sarah arrives on the scene to witness his violent outburst.
