In Emmerdale spoilers for Thu, June 19 Robert Sugden makes his highly anticipated return to the village.

It’s also a big day for Sarah Sugden as she heads for her egg retrieval procedure. But her happy mood turns sour when she realises Charity has made a discovery.

Elsewhere, Bear continues to cause panic with his behaviour.

1. John has a new target as Robert’s back in Emmerdale spoilers

Robert told Aaron he would stay away, but after John then visited him in prison too, Robert changed his mind. John’s threats made Robert realise John is hiding something and can’t be trusted.

Last night (Wednesday June 18) Robert warned Victoria she couldn’t trust John. However Vic was determined John is her brother and she loves him the same as she loves Robert.

Of course we all know Rob is right and we soon saw John making a call to a helpline and getting some advice. It has clearly spurred him on to find a new target – but who?

Tonight we will find out exactly what John is plotting next. But things are derailed when Robert walks back into town. He surprises Aaron and John and says he’s back to spend time with his family. What will John’s next move to rid himself of Robert be?

2. Sarah heads for her procedure

The day of Sarah’s egg retrieval has arrived and Charity accompanies her to her appointment.

She is very happy when Dr Knapp reveals they managed to get a good amount of eggs to test for viability. Meaning she is one step closer to having a baby.

3. Charity is shocked in Emmerdale spoilers

However, the mood quickly turns as Charity Dingle answers a call on Sarah’s phone while she is in the hospital. And she is horrified by the reason for the call.

When Sarah returns, she quickly realises that Charity is furious with her, and discovers she knows about her cancer diagnosis.

4. Paddy worries about Bear

Bear’s behaviour has been causing a stir recently, and Paddy wants to try to help him, but has his own worried about what could be causing it.

So, Mandy persuades Paddy to confront things, and ask Bear up-front what is going on.

But when Paddy goes to speak to his dad, he is shocked to see that Bear and his motorbike are missing. Where has Bear gone to? And what has been happening to him?
