Their fortnight-long secrets will be revealed in shocking scenes. And by the end, a clear answer will be given to the viewers. Laurel wants rid of Ray (Credit: ITV) Did Laurel kill Ray? 1. Laurel kicks Ray out The focus of the flashbacks start with Laurel. Immediately following Celia’s death, Ray stands over his mother’s body, before lifting a distinct red bag and leaving. But as Laurel reels from the truth, when Ray arrives, she refuses to listen to him, slamming the door on him. But Ray manages to get inside, begging Laurel to forgive him. Arthur wants revenge for his mum (Credit: ITV) 2. Arthur gets involved As Laurel continues to refuse his narrative of being the victim, Ray begs for his freedom. But by letting him leave, Ray ultimately ends up dead. And when Arthur hears the truth, he vows to make Ray pay for what Laurel is going through… 3. Nicola urges Laurel to set a trap Later, when speaking to Nicola, Laurel is urged to lure Ray into a trap. But she must decide whether or not she is willing to risk everything in order to get justice. Who is lurking near Rhona? (Credit: ITV) Rhona is another character in the frame 4. A shadow looms close to Rhona As the same day repeats itself, the attention is focussed on Rhona. As Ray heads away from Celia’s body, he grabs his bag and wipes his fingerprints off the knife. Meanwhile Rhona is feeling the pain of April’s disappearance. But while she’s at home, a shadowy figure looms behind her. Who is it? And what do the want? But before Ray heads out of the house, he goes upstairs to see Bear’s body, and becomes quickly overwhelmed with grief. But Marlon is convinced Ray has April, and is determined to get answers. Marlon wants his daughter back (Credit: ITV) 6. Marlon sets out on a mission He heads out with a knife, clearly intent on making Ray talk once and for all. But he doesn’t face Ray alone. Instead, his best mate Paddy is there by his side, also wanting answers on Bear. Ray and Paddy have a showdown (Credit: ITV) 7. Paddy and Marlon are pushed to the limit Ray fills Paddy in on the extent of Bear’s situation, and tells him that he is dead. But things quickly escalate when Ray threatens Dylan in order to get Paddy to back off. But with both Paddy and Marlon ready to strike. Pushed to their limits, who will make the first move? Ross would do anything for April (Credit: ITV) Ross has a gun 8. Ross is seen with a gun Viewers know that Ross gave April a lift back to the village. And it was clear the pair had experienced something together. But the truth of what that was is about to come out, as Ross is wielding a gun in Emmerdale spoilers. Arthur steals Ray’s bag (Credit: ITV) The killer truth is revealed in Emmerdale spoilers 9. Ray is broken A montage of the day of the murder is once again played. But then he heads back downstairs, preparing to get rid of Celia’s body. But as he does this, Ray is clearly absolutely broken at how everything has ended up. However, he continues to show his evil side as he quickly threatens Eve for Paddy’s silence. 10. Laurel is shocked When Arthur spots Ray’s bag, he quickly grabs it and heads home. Laurel is horrified when she sees Arthur with the stolen bag. And the shock discovery of drugs leads to another confrontation… Ray has been murdered (Credit: ITV) 11. Someone covers up But in the shocking aftermath, the culprit sets about covering up their crime. But after bundling Ray’s body into the back of Jai’s van, the slip-up leads to Jai driving off with it unknowingly. So, the big question is – who did it?
