Their decision comes after the lovers learn from Liam that Kev has been faking his terminal illness. But will Aaron and Robert be able to bring their nemesis down? Kev’s words put the fear of God into Robert (Credit: ITV) Robert fears Kev is onto him and Aaron in Emmerdale spoilers Manipulative Kev has been tightening his grip on Robert by playing the dying man card at every opportunity. Viewers know that Kev isn’t really terminally ill, but Robert has fallen for the fib and promised to nurse his husband until the end. As well as lying about being sick, Kev has also resumed his criminal activities. Last week he got hold of a gun and used it to carry out an armed robbery, with the assistance of another Dales resident. Robert now wants to know where Kev has hidden his loot from the robbery. He tries to get the truth out of his husband as they sit down for a coffee at Cafe Main Street, but Kev isn’t forthcoming. What Kev does tell Robert is that he doesn’t like being lied to. This makes Robert panic that Kev knows about him and Aaron and is biding his time for payback. Poor Liam has been forced to go along with Kev’s deception as he’s bound by patient confidentiality. The local GP is stressed when Kev suddenly shows up and forces him to lie to Robert that he misdiagnosed Kev’s heart condition. Robert and Aaron recognise that Liam is being controlled and tell Chas about their plan to get rid of Kev for good. She agrees to help them, and the trio bring Liam up to speed on the operation. However, it soon becomes clear that Liam is holding something back. When pressed for answers, Liam cracks and reveals Kev was never terminally ill. The news comes as a shock to everyone, but makes Robron renew their determination to deal with Kev. Chas and Liam fear they’re making a dangerous mistake, but ultimately decide to support the boys’ plan. But what he doesn’t realise is that Aaron is lurking nearby and has seen everything. Taking action, Aaron makes a call to Robert – and it’s not long before the police arrive on the scene and catch Kev red-handed.
