She has been forced to break his heart to stop him getting too serious. Ross is upset with her decision. Meanwhile, the sneaking around has not gone unnoticed by Kim Tate. Lydia confronted Sam over Laurel (Credit: ITV) Lydia confronted Sam in Emmerdale spoilers On Monday (June 8), Lydia, having heard Kim’s accusations, decided to confront Sam. Kim was right behind her, insisting she would support her friend every step of the way. Lydia walked into the Woolpack and immediately spotted Laurel and Sam hugging. She thought that confirmed her worst fears and that Sam and Laurel were certainly getting it on behind her back. Lydia made a tearful accusation and the whole Woolpack feel silent as Sam was confronted. But Sam isn’t having an affair with Laurel. In fact, he’s taking secret dance lessons from Ross (which have been a joy to watch, quite frankly). And Laurel’s been his secret dance partner.
